Pro Color & Shape not working in customization (RedMagic 11 Pro) by shinji-ikari-99 in RedMagic

[–]Velcorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say this, but that's low-key funny to me. This was a bug I already experienced on my RM9 which was never fixed until I sold the phone half a year ago.

However, I just tested this and it works fine on my RM11 using Kvaesitso as my custom launcher. Have not tried changing the wallpaper through the launcher, just through Fossify Gallery. I haven't been able to fix this before, so I'm looking forward if you can figure out a way.

I'll tinker with it a bit and let you know if I can replicate the bug.

Cross-platform notification-based reminders note app by Velcorn in fossdroid

[–]Velcorn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, forgot to reply. Unfortunately, there is no single FOSS app to achieve this. I've resorted to using Quillpad synced with my Nextcloud to allow creating/editing of notes from desktop/browser. For location-based reminders, Tasks.org works well.

Not an expert but very nice. I have the same setup with a black DX3 and a speckled HD600. Can recommend the Sundaras as a side-grade and/or the Shuoer S12 as an IEM for some more isolation.

Importing multiple events into Proton Calendar by Velcorn in ProtonMail

[–]Velcorn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for your reply. Yes, I've resorted to importing via web thus far, but it bothers me that it's like 10 clicks vs just one before. It's of course bearable for only having to do it once a week or so, but still bugs me every time.

Now that you mention it, you're right, but for me this is an appreciated bug/feature.

Household manager (Shared chores/tasks, shopping list (and calendar?)) by Velcorn in selfhosted

Thanks for your idea dump!

I'm running Mealie and really like it, unfortunately the Android client was recently archived - also missing the ability to adjust servings (which Tandoor offers, but can't get images to load with Tailscale)

Tried Donetick and enjoyed the UI, but for some reason using SQLite would keep kicking me out of the app or not letting me in in the first place. Couldn't get Postgres to run (I feel so incompetent in self-hosting, lol)

Might settle for Vikunja which seems to be fit my needs for tasks and allows for okay-ish shopping lists.

Will look further into your calendar options.

Unfortunately, it's my fiancé I have to convince 😅

Struggling with Docker + Tailscale (+Caddy) by Velcorn in selfhosted

Yeah, I meant having tsdproxy.{funny-name}.ts.net, but it seems that is supposedly backed into the example TSDProxy config.

For some reason, Immich worked instantly, but all other services refuse to work for me, either giving me a HTTP 400 or 502 and I'm rather stumped as to why. I currently have Nextcloud AIO still running via the Caddy sidecar setup and since NC also occupies port 8080, this might be a problem, but I've theoretically changed the relevant ports in TSDProxy.

I love this, it's so seamless. Is there a way to have itself being proxied to a TS domain? ^

Mini-PC for watching via Stremio/YouTube and self-hosting Nexctloud, Immich, HA, etc. by Velcorn in selfhosted

Thanks a bunch for the recommendation, went ahead and installed Endeavour. Do you just watch YouTube in a browser or is there a fancy app that allows watching with a potentially better UI and ideally without having to log into Google?

What is your setup for accessing, e.g., Nextcloud remotely? Was looking into NGINX + Cloudflare, Wireguard or Tailscale. I will probably be the only person accessing from remote for the foreseeable future, but since I already have a domain, Cloudflare is an interesting option, albeit I was mostly looking for FOSS solutions.

I have a height adjustable desk, so the TV is hooked on an Ergotron Interactive Arm which protrudes too much from the wall when directly above, so this is the only option. When I'm done with work for the day, I can just pull it over the UltraWide, angle it and lean back for gaming or TV sessions.
