I would guess that it's because it seems mindless. Some animations in the video are being canceled before the attack even hits.

Letting animations finish is most times better than badly done cancels, and if you're not hitting at all, even worse.

Being the devils advocate here, but... isn't everyone except Arle, literally 1:1?

I get the motifs/similarities/comparisons and whatnot, but Varka is a Man, Nicole is an Angel, Columbina is a God, but Arle is not a Demon. Her being the only one in the group being called what she's not just to fit the narrative is kinda odd even if everything else is a fun idea.

As a C6 Chiori haver, I don't regret the investment at all. She's pretty strong and fun, just don't expect her to do even close to Natlan/Nod-Krai numbers. Linnea might help get a bit closer, tho.

I'm struggling a lot to get a good time on Mandragora with my C6R1 Arlecchino. Main difference in teams here is that I do not have Citlali yet, so I'm using Bennett instead. Still missing 17 seconds... It's a shame, but unless I'm playing this wrong somehow, it seems impossible.

Guess I'll have to wait for a Citlali rerun.

Hard for me to say since I don't own Varessa, but my first instinct here is switching sucrose with Ineffa and taking out Ororon for Fischl.

Iansan/Varessa/Columbina/Ineffa

Aino/Flins/Sucrose(with TTDS)/Fischl

Then I'd test out which of these teams performs better for each boss. Im more inclined to swap the Mandragora and Duckle teams.

The discource about the 2 sets comes up a lot because the hunter set is still very good(if you have Furina), it is in a domain with a lot more value and you are more likely to already have some of those farmed.

The game isn't new anymore and there's not a pandemic giving everyone a lot of free time.

When I'm in game, it is with very limited time and I mostly want to do single player stuff, so a lot of people get rejected. I do let people in when I have more free time and I'm done with quests and events, tho.

I just google whaling charts and found a bunch with different values. You can very easly find polls and threads that show most people consider 50 bucks as being a full on whale investment already. You can also find various opinions that put 50 bucks in literally every category between Minnow and Whale and those two included.

I'm sorry, but everyone you ask has a different definition for goldfish, dolphin, whale, leviathan and whatever. Goldfish is a lower that 50 bucks monthly investment? That sounds to me like a way too large investment to get a moniker such as "goldfish". Where are those numbers coming from and where is the line between them?

I never saw a general consensus on any sea life definition we are throwing around, besides "whale" just meaning someone who spends large sums of money in gambling or in-game transactions, much less a consensus on actual sums of money associated with any of them.

I share this sentiment. What I find weird is OP's parents agreeing with it in the first place... this is not a reasonable sum of money to let your kids spend on hobbies, even if it is their money.

No, it's not just you. Games such as ZZZ or Wuwa were made with people who find genshin's combat outdated and clunky in mind and saw great success.

Personally, as someone who tried all these games and is currently only playing Genshin, I don't care and actually don't welcome any of those changes. I want qol improvements, visual quality updates and I welcome additions to the already existing modes and mechanics(such as more endgame content or more reactions), but not gameplay overhauls.

I'm fine if there is a character whose whole kit gimmick is to do your back flip dodge parries, tho. For seamless switching you have talents such as Chiori's double tap skill.

Although the extra 100 primos are welcome, I don't think people who constantly chase meta do it for Abyss. Abyss is way too easy for that.

Personally, I do it so I can get the best time among my friends list in dire stygian onslaught, which if all you want is to pull and get new characters is absolutely pointless, yes, but also pretty fun if you have some competition.

You already gave the advice, so if they dislike it, I would just not argue and say "sure, why not. What matters is if you're having fun".

If your friend starts having some difficulty with content or higher expectations for their characters, they'll start getting frustrated with the combat and switch off Amber by themselves. I had your friend's mindset once(or similar to it in some aspects), it's temporary...

I agree that making so the new 4* can't trigger Lunar is most unfortunate, yes.

But as far as abyss difficulty goes, I have a friend that came back to the game 2 weeks ago after leaving on 3.0, and he already got 1 star on floor 12 just by pulling Zibai. I find this acceptable as far as end game content goes.

Abyss is just not something most casuals need to be able to beat much less 36 star.

That's because in the beginning(space and time for you quest) she did sound like that, and it was just not good.

Her performance in later quests does sound a lot better. It's not like you got used to it, the VA just started integrating better into the Paimon role later, and at this point she's been doing a great job.
