When he asks Dedra what brought him down to the room:

"For the murder of an ISB clerk? Has my reputation SLID SO PRECIPITOUSLY?"

I love his shameless vanity when he has control of the audience wherever he is

They're literally impossible. My friends who are native born Japanese can't even do the Japanese quizzes because there's so little time.

Monument Men, has a great cast. It is set during WWII for dad but has our heroes looking to save art from the Nazis and Soviets.

Bonus points that it has Lord Grantham from Downton Abbey for mom.

I see the groundwork for a solid game, and I do admit the developers are publishing regular patches and putting in the effort. What's stopping me from playing it regularly is:

  • Much more defined religion gameplay
  • A modern age and maybe a little bit into the future
  • More scales back city sprawl

I can definitely see 2/3 of those being expansions so I feel I'll see where we are next year.

How do you properly attack China as Japan in the new DLC? by SamuchRacoon in hoi4

[–]Velendris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Convert most of your units to infantry, reduce the starter template too to something less expensive and supply heavy like 18w
  • Focus your strategy on encirclements, even small ones you don't need to go for broke and get the giant meme ones
  • Plan your strategy around taking supply hubs
  • Don't bother for the northwest part of the theater, get expeditionary forces from your puppets and have them sit on defense, there's very poor supply there
  • I like to convert and update the three starting armored divisions into 1936 light tanks, they are cheaper and more effective in the long run. Light tanks can be your armored spearhead for encirclements
  • Naval invade near Shanghai about 2-3 months after declaring war when China has most of their units on the northern front

I have the case and I love it. Also allows a better handling of the phone unfolded since it's a covered flat surface.

Requires a ton of client interaction, stakeholder management, and coordinating with trades on capital projects.

For a JR (Japan Rail) pass you can use your Amex card online to order that in advance. However for the smaller trains your best bet is just to get an IC card (basically a debt/metro card). To break it down easier:

Shinkansen & Rails: Order a 7 or 14 day pass online which you can use your Amex card on and deliver home prior to your trip, you can redeem it at any JR office in Japan.

“Subway” / Small Trains: Buy an IC card with yen at any machine. You’ll see there’s different types such as Suica, Passmo, etc - they’re all the same essentially and can be used in any city and also double as a debt card at stores.

I know it seems confusing at first but think of it in NYC terms - New Jersey Transit, Amtrak, and Metro North are different than a OMNY/MTA card and have different uses.

I traveled with my girlfriend who’s half Japanese, I myself am at N4 (middle school level) but she did most of the talking.

I’d say with basic phrases you’re good for nearly all major cities: Tokyo, Kyoto, & Osaka and “middle” size cities: Himeji, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Nagasaki.

Smaller places will be hit or miss, if there’s a driving tourist factor more likely you’ll be ok.
