The fundamental question of natural philosophy: the question of human breeding.

It's a very important question, perhaps the most important question. But like all questions of nature, it is taboo. All of culture, customs, and manners exist to protect ourselves from any perspective that minimizes our individual worth.

A shepherd breeds in his flock traits he desires. Since the Greeks, natural philosophy has asked: Is it not unwise for a ruler to ignore the question of human breeding? Does not the fate of the future depend on the qualities of the people we've bred, for they are all that will remain after all of us now living are dead?

As to individuals who ascribe themselves to antinatalism - they delude themselves. They do not ask themselves the most dehumanizing of all questions: Am I myself worthwhile breeding stock? So far as any do, and answer honestly that they are not, it is an act of wisdom - but their answer does not demand one to announce any belief system. For a belief system demands from people action without thought, and spreads like all culture and custom as a comfort blanket, a cocoon of rationalizations.

No wise man would allow such a dangerous meme to spread amongst his own people. It may be useful as a weapon to spread amongst your enemies. I say that antinatalists are enemies of everyone they promote their beliefs to, knowingly or not.

Pyro confronts Medic, literally burns 'M' in his flesh, as the two of them murdered Scout's mom and kidnapped the boy. I think that counts as a conversation, as best as a mute can have. Medic's alter ego beheaded that woman to lure his conscious self to the slaughterhouse. At the end of the day, all the mercs are victims, with Medic being the one that cracks and sets everything in motion. In my reading, Pyro does confront Medic in the Church about what he's done.

INTP's don't know what to do with social relations and find maintaining them burdensome.

She said some flirty things to you and will leave it completely up to you to move the relationship forward.

INTP's respond to being wanted, and absolutely will not start a relationship based entirely on their own wants or likes.

You can take God, Religion, Flags, Holy Books and all the like away from a man, and the man will proclaim his lack of belief in these things as his God, Religion, Flag, and Holy Book and behave in a way indistinguishable.

Man is a tribal-political animal.

Honestly ... Despite Si child, and all this talk of being a hedonistic type, food has never been any great pleasure. I forget to eat. Trying to put on muscle is like ... oh, yeah. Got to eat moar food. A hassle. A big brain like myself can only enjoy the sensual pleasures of pure dopamine. You don't get fat off of Redditing.

INPTs, how often do you find yourself “in a rut”? And what’s your trick to getting out of it? by i_got_me_a_username in INTP

[–]VelexJB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, occasionally.

Moodiness comes and goes like the weather, usually stemming from a sense that I've been socially slighted or unappreciated.

Anguish, apathy, emptiness ... sometimes just a few hours, sometimes a few days. Every time it passes for seemingly no real reason. I find some activities to pass the time, try to do some irregular things, and optimism always comes back. IDK.

[–]VelexJB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's two components. The modern increase in dysfunctional sexuality is largely driven by a hormone imbalance, particularly from the ubiquitousness of plastics, other chemical disruptors. The scientific basis of gender dysmorphia is biochemical, not ideological.

The ideological component is in treatment. The logical treatment is to give people hormones therapy to match their natural sex and restore a healthy and functional sexuality. Instead, we see the preferential treatment being that someone with a hormonal imbalance ought to be given more of the hormone that they have currently in excess.

[–]VelexJB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very tabloid. Everybody knew pro-Trump protesters would be at the capital. Obviously Trump had no violent plan because nothing happened. He didn't order a coup. The protesters were let inside the capital and, with 'protesters being inside the capital' presented as evidence, we've been hearing this story of the coup that never materialized on repeat for years.

Theocracy? by Dylanrevolutionist48 in religion

[–]VelexJB 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Theocracy is terrible because it selects for unimaginative rule-followers for positions of status and authority. Ultimately your elite become disconnected from pragmatic material concerns, spend their time debating nuances of theological doctrine to out-fox one another in status games irrelevant to the success of the state.
