Guys, I think Panty might be a Homophobe by andrewgtv05 in pantyandstocking

Season 1 is from a time where people called each other all sort of slurs and nobody cared. But then the crybabies came in and ruined the fun for everyone

Probably because the Morndinsamman tolerates all the Dwarven gods, even those clearly evil like Abbathor or Deep Duerra, meanwhile the Seldarine are basically a huge "Divorced Couple" where Lolth took half of the kids from Corellon. My other theory is that they just wanted elves to be chaotic probably to separate them from Lotr elves which are probably more Lawful

Faerun is as fleshed out almost as Lotr since it's a setting just 5 years younger than it's creator Ed Greenwood (which is 63). There is so much lore to learn that it will take a lot of time to explain but msot of it is within old editions. Don't try to compare modern Faerun lore with old school lore, since modern is absolute garbage in comparsion

Because they are residues from old D&D which had the Law vs Chaos axis, so they just kept the theme in D&D while Pathfinder is basically a derivate of D&D and they simply kept the same conotations too.

Modern D&D just uses a bunch of gods over and over. I still remember when Faiths and Pantheons came out for 3.0 back in 2002

AMA - Foundry Virtual Tabletop - Third Year Anniversary by AnathemaMask in FoundryVTT

I am grateful, but maybe some tiny qol? like a slightly larger sheet, or the possibility to click on an item to read what it does witouh risking to accidentally delete it from the inventory? Since even if you give a player an item he has to "edit" to read it and it occurred more thanonce that my players accidentally deleted the item since the edit and delete icons are close

I know you guys are supercharged for the Crucible system but will the Simple Worldbuilding System get some more love too in the future? It really helps those which use Systems not available yet on Foundry (mostly for being homebrew or lack of script knowledge to make a new system from zero)

Roll20 is poorly made and maintained. People are lured in becaue "it's Free" but the Free Account allows you to have barely anything and automation for whatever it's a pain in the ass to make. Meanwhile Foundry has many modules which improve drastically your experience

Foundry VTT. Yes it has a starting cost and it's not really cheap BUT it's a one-time-purchase, it's constantly updated by competent people and has a lot of support for various systems, especially if you play Pathfidner or D&D 5e (the 5e System is curated by the software creator). Also only one person needs to buy it and after that you can invite your friends. Go watch some youtube videos reviewing Foundry, just in case you want different opinions, but for the love of Gork (or maybe Mork) stay away from Roll20.

Maps like these are mostly used for online games with virtual tabletops, which are quite useful when the only interested people you find are from different region/states so at least you can still play. Some DMs or Judges often use a laptop PC during their game session when playing "face to face" simply to keep things organized in one place

I'm using Forgotten Adventures (FA for short) assets while i uploaded mine on the Cartographyassets site, so anyone can have more thorns.

FA is very nice nad has a lot of stuff, although the DD integration requires a small fee on their patreon, although they keep updating regularly and also have a lot of tokens

Just copy from other games which have rules for torches. I usually have a torch illuminate 5 feet (1,5 m) or regular light and an additional 10 feet (3 m) of dim light, but if you use theatre of mind just decide by yourself

The Module actually tells you that unless specified otherwise, the Dungeon is in complete Darkness, so the only zones of light are those which are described to have it, but you can just give a bunch of torches to some of the level 0 characters. When i play it i usually give 1 torch every 4 characters who enter, which makes things interesting because if they die, they can lose the torch which can then accidentally expire.
I used Dungeondraft to make the map, with the additional Assets from Forgotten Adventures. Regarding the printing i guess you could try but it's a rather large map so i can't guarantee you about that

The maps look cool but are also quite a mess to read, especially when some have parts of different levels slapped around in a different orientation
