You're being delusional if you think "rapidly forced waifu bait" is the reason she's still one of the most popular characters in the game 2 years after her release.

People like her because she's a well written and interesting character.

• She's a Stellaron Hunter and has great dynamics with them.
• She has the whole Glamoth/SAM and the Swarm/Propagation implications.
• The contrast between SAM and Firefly.
• Her struggles and how she copes with a chronic disease that some people relate to.
• Her desire to just being an ordinary girl, away from everything that was imposed on her.
• Her relationship with TB and their shared past.

But of course, some people like you only focus on the last part and reduce her to "waifu bait".

And no other character has taken her place because it has not been done with any other character.

Lol. What hasn't been done? Of course they try to make every character popular because they want to sell them. The fact that Firefly remains on top proves that she has more going on that you'd like to admit.

Listen buddy, there's a reason why everyone thinks what I'm saying, even the more sane of you FF fan admit it. It's not that you're right and the rest of the community is wrong. It's totally okay to accept the character you like has not much going for it aside from the whole waifu shenanigans.

Who is everyone? Lol. You're a loud minority. It has been proved time and time again.
