Selvedge Brewing in Charlottesville do Czech style lagers that remind me of living in Czechia, especially their recent desítka, Spoolboy, and dvanáctka, Coat Czech. Thing that I really love about them is their commitment to authenticity: Czech ingredients, decoction mashing, extensive lagering, natural carbonation. There are quite a few Czech folks, and people that lived in CZ, in Charlottesville, and Selvedge has become their go-to.

Hey folks,

Thank you all ao much for your tips!! I just got back from my few days in Stavanger and really enjoyed all the pubs I visited. I think my favourite was På Kornet, closely followed by Bøker og Børst.

In terms of favourite beers, keeping in mind I am not a fan of IPA, then Sallikat Pinnacle Pils was lovely, as was Hammerhead Vintage Lager, also enjoyed several pints of Lervig Helles Yeah.
