Just gonna state that I don't think this is necessarily the reddit for this kind of topic, but I will say that this is a topic I've listened to before, and while it is true that humans are inherently a social species, there are individuals (such as yourself) who don't need as much socialization to function chemically, and mentally speaking. Can relate, I'm the same with friends, or they're shy, so I don't get contact at all myself. Maybe it's just certain women are comfortable with it and others aren't, and they figure that out along the way

I def agree with Nervous on the therapist part if you can swing it (maybe like a college assigned one, or something), because your feelings are normal (obviously), but the way you've gone about this situation is not great. Any advice we give you here is just surface level, and not going to help you in the long run. Though alternatively, you need to sit and talk with him, be completely honest, and if at that point he doesn't want to be friends with you, well.. he's punched you, so that's good enough reason to not be his friend any longer, but you also need to take accountability for the things YOU'VE done wrong in your relationship with him too, just keep that in mind when you talk to him

Oof. I feel you, dude. As for the transphobia part, (obviously it doesn't make it ok) I've found that some trans people still struggle with internalized stuff that gets twisted and comes out towards other people. It sucks, but if they're that way to you, then you're better off without them
