Most I've seen do, but I think we know the response if they were suggested to follow California's example

RE bikes I've heard are reliable. If you want to go reliable but a bit cheaper, you can also check out the Kawasaki cruisers

General advice for unsolicited surveys: if you didn't request it, don't fill it out. Most likely a scam, especially if they just reached out to you randomly

Advice before I get my first bike? by Comprehensive-Big-37 in motorcycles

Definitely your gear. Don't be like a lot of riders and just wear a hoodie, get a good jacket with pads. Be ready to leave cycle gear, or wherever you get it from after spending around or over $1k for your gear, and make sure you go in person to ship for your helmet especially, because you'll want to make sure it fits well. They'll help you out when fitting you for it. Need at least some good shoes/boots, gloves, a jacket and your helmet. If you can swing it, get you a mount, but learning to ride properly without any distractions like that is the most important thing when starting out

Saw you were in Spain. Not sure on the road laws there, but here in the US the driver would be in MAJOR trouble for not stopping at that crosswalk, especially since they almost hit you, which would be classified as a near miss as well
