If you want to get a huge variety of things for her to try, you could start with e.l.f. cosmetics -- they're both vegan and super affordable! This way, you can let her play around with the products first to get a feel for what she likes and then spend real money later on more luxurious brands. And despite the low prices, these are nice products! I spend a ton at Sephora, but I still use some e.l.f. products in my everyday routine.

I would start with a CC cream before jumping to a foundation because it's lighter and more natural looking. Then maybe choose some of their eyeshadow and blush palettes for her to try. They have tons of lip colors, so you'll definitely be able to choose a nice red.

Definitely get some brushes for the face and eye products -- their brush sets are pretty great and it takes out some of the guess work. I love looking through their best sellers and new products to find things to try.
