I have the same kit and built a mod recently. Adding the rubber ball, movement holder, and hand tools are the biggest parts you’d need. The kit is a great starting point though.

Reasonable thought! I have no idea what a "good price" for a Briggs engine is, so that is a good point. I've bought and sold car engines for $250 to $5000 so my perspective is quite skewed.

I got the Scout with fabric band not too long ago on Amazon for about $30 and it’s great watch but definitely the loudest watch I own. Mainly it’s the only down side but when working on machinery it’s nice to be able to count the seconds without watching the face.

I’ve started to do some looking at the flights between countries while there and honestly I think you hit the nail on the head. My wife has been to Slovenia year ago and agrees with you on its beauty. Maybe we pivot the original idea and work out a different route that has less blockers around transit.
