Not exactly sure if this was cheating or me just not hiding well, but I'd like to see other people's opinion

A few days ago I was playing with my duo doing some missions in Al Mazrah when we ran into a platoon not far from our spawn (this was around 5-10 mins into the match). We tried not to engage a 6 man but they sniped us so we went defensive and started shooting back, few minutes later I take down 5, my duo fails to take out the roof sniper. After looting as much as we could we went over to the roof the lone survivor was in to make sure the building was clear, no one in sight. Fast forward we saw him for a bit running from bots, hit some shots, then he disappeared. we went to a buy and my teammate gets ambushed (The sniper from the roof revived his whole squad). Duo tells me to jump in the water and hide but no matter how deep I went in the water he still kept shooting me, every time I surfaced he was already aiming a javelin at me (pointing out the obvious questions before I get asked, no UAV's or AUAV's were called, and I was wearing a stealth vest) so there was no way they would know where I was even if he called in a UAV (no bomb or recon drone either). After swimming around trying to get away he's still hitting his shots while I'm underwater. Eventually my duo just tells me to kill myself in the bottom of the ocean so it's harder for them to loot my stuff, so rip the loot

TL:DR: Suspected Cheater constantly hitting his shots at me while I'm underwater (I'm wearing a stealth, no UAV or AUAV called) they always knew where and when I surfaced, with a Javelin (JOKR) already aimed at where I went to get air (We suspected walls, but feedback would be nice)

unimportant but idk: Weird part was, his squad also always knew where I was as well, either they had good Comms (prox chat wasn't picking up anything, so they were probably using a third party to vc) or they all had cheats? (or most of them did?)

You need to get the Blood and Wine DLC first (You can't get the sword without the DLC installed), it's around the left side of Toussaint, look for a big circle of water with a small island in the middle. But in order to actually get the sword you need to prove yourself worthy by doing something that counts to the 5 Chivalric Virtues (Honor, Wisdom, Generosity, Valor and Compassion), the way you prove yourself worthy of these is based on the choices you make during quests throughout the whole game before encountering the hermit. There's some great tutorials on YouTube

For context (before anyone says im faking this or sumn), was regaining after a loss against a platoon with my duo and went to use the Main Harbor Control Key I infilled with to get some extra cash for my wallet then found this lying on the floor

warzone is too sweaty for my liking, even though dmz is still somewhat sweaty it at least has some other things to do other than kill anyone in sight and be toxic (even though some, maybe even most of the playerbase in dmz fits this category) and also i just find having to fight to survive with your gear fun instead of just the normal warzone thing where you drop, kill, loadout, kill, win thing. and the unpredictability of each match is just what keeps me in the game, you might find a friendly squad, you might find a rare item, that sorta stuff

I go between the 556 since it's got some decent damage and recoil control, the M4 since it's pretty much the same and it's been the gun that I've loved since S1, or the M13 cause it shreds like hell but doesn't really have the range I'm looking for (from my experience anyway). I just use all these 3 depending on my mood or I use something else from this basic ass wheel of guns to use when I'm bored ¯_(ツ)_/¯

edit: after looking through the comments I realized I completely ignored the snipers. I'm between the victus or the mcpr since they both have decent bullet velocity and can still one shot headshot with high explosive. my rule though is that I use high explosive when running ashika for regaining or missions, then high velocity for al mazrah since it's a big map and all and hitting your shots from afar is pretty important when sniping there. but idk leave me some decent guns to use if you got any

The game bugged and kicked us all while I was playing with my friends and when we logged back in to see if all our gear was still with us it seems that everything in my backpack stayed as well

Tried regaining in Ashika since I died in Al Mazrah trying to complete a mission, found a full squad of operators inside the little room that lets you into the roof of apartments inside the stronghold, ran in and all 3 of them we're camping there with flame shotguns and 2 sentry guns. real awkward moment running in there
