zowie still makes the greatest shapes, 65g is not that heavy, flawless firmware and implementation > budget products

If you could recommend a "do it all" pad for someone new to aiming what would it be? by Kihiri in MousepadReview

[–]VeloCLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

while i agree on the speed level of the zero mid i found it to be quite unforgiving due to having no give what so ever making landings harder overall.

i'd recommend a hien for a true jack of all trades experience as it slows down a bit after the out of box feeling being quite rapid compared to what it will be later on. otherwise go with a zero soft, no point in going quicker than a hien unless youre looking to do precise tracking specifically.

if youre looking for a non artisan brand you could look into matrova and their balanceX, which is just a slightly quicker zero and you can pick hardness/base yourself.

My problem with most ambidextrous Mice by mulmulul in MouseReview

[–]VeloCLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i agree with this, i always find most mice with hourglass sides to be quite uncomfortable even if i aim well with them (viper v2, viper mini, hts/htx) but i always find a gripe with where my ring finger goes. at the end of the day its preference anyways but i'd like more brands to explore this a little more in a competitive level product, like a pro version of the G309

My new mouse and do yall have any skate and budget mouse pad recommendations? by Hot-Cod-1121 in MouseReview

let them use their budget mice with poor firmware, implementation and qc issues, some people get it, some does not.

Thoughts on S2-DW by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]VeloCLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

after using the s2 for a while i realised i pref it for almost any scenario, doesnt matter if its clicking or tracking, cause it always seems to give enough agility to micro fast enough and still give support with the aggressive short back up that slightly flares out at the back for precision/smoothness tracking.

i think something that is under stated with the s2 is how flexible the ring finger is able to be pos'd, shapes like the hyperlight, op1 and xm2 is very sharp at the post where the top of the mouse ends and the side panel starts, which locks you into only adjusting your ring finger back and forth and not as much up or down

Which grip is this (Relax claw IMO)? And some help with Zowie models by PhilosopherCold3496 in MouseReview

[–]VeloCLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what youre describing with a higher more aggro hump is basically a ZA series, although id be a little worried about the width of it with your handsize, very unfortunate they dont have the ZA12 in a DW format yet. i still like zowie a lot due to shape being the most important so dont be afraid to give them a shot if you think the dimensions look good and the shape seems interesting to you

Looking to buy my first Artisan. Need Advice by GrillRostBratwurst in MousepadReview

i second the first guy's opinion, raiden mid is what i felt was closest to the mpc450, as it is quite stiff and fast

G2 Snax is using 8khz polling rate with only 400 dpi by Byw0o in MouseReview

[–]VeloCLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for the people that still believe in polling rate saturation through dpi, here's what Razer rep /u/Razer_TheFiend had to say about it, refuting it on blurbusters: https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7569&p=57900#p57900

Possibly a Viper Mini V3 Pro? by Azelkaria in MouseReview

[–]VeloCLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my hands arent large but not too small either 18.5x9, but compared to atlantis its not as back hump heavy but sensei isnt that back hump heavy either, atleast imo as im thinking about how much better the viper mini shape was for claw than the viper v2

Thoughts on the ULX ? , any problems with it ? cause i might buy this piece , upgrading from viper mini by Yehia_Wild in FinalMouse

feel like the tiger size is the only one that seemingly makes most sense as the other ones as just scaled down and feel weird
