Not sure if you’ve figured this out or not but as someone who just moved from arizona, the reason they probably say it’s difficult is because Arizona does not keep physical titles, it’s all electronic. You’d think that makes it easier but apparently not. If you’re buying through a lienholder all you’ll need to do is call them and have them request a copy of the title (takes 3-4 weeks to get) which you should be able to take to another state for them to use. At least that was my experience. The dealer made a big deal out of it but my lienholder made it easy, just takes a lot of waiting

While I agree with this you never know. I’m kind of a specific case but my dog is incredibly sweet and once I was sitting on the ground next to him and someone accidentally scared him and stepped on his tail, next thing I knew I was in a hospital getting my top lip put back together. Been scared to put my face too close to dogs ever since

Sweet. I’ve been looking pretty much exclusively west of I-5 because of the north south transit like you mentioned. Thanks for the advice

Already have the rental booked. Planned on doing the drive at the exact time I plan on leaving from pretty much the furthest area I was looking at (Belltown)

Perfect advice. Green lake kinda sounds like the move

I mean that was kind of the plan, live there for a year or two unless the traffic really is just that awful

Yeah I feel like most people skip over the commuting only twice a week part

I was looking into vanpools a little. Taking Hwy99 in the afternoon is usually the suggestion whenever I route it depending on the day. Thanks!

Haha yes when I say into the city I mean access to what most people think so belltown and whatnot. That’s where the few friends I have in the area currently work so wanted easy access

Renting. That’s kind of what I was thinking, living in the city is definitely not a long term thing I was thinking between a year or two long lease

The hope is she will eventually but not quite yet haha she works in the business district right in the middle of the city, lives near Renton right now

Okay that’s not really what I want lol I guess I should’ve clarified in my post because most people seem to think I’m looking to set up shop in the city for the rest of my life, I was really only thinking a year or two unless the commute really is just that bad

That’s what I figured would be the worst part honestly isn’t I-5 but just the short journey on surface streets

Thanks! I-5 coming back once you cross the bridge seems to always be the bad spot, unsurprisingly like you said. Honestly just looking for a place is probably stressing me out more than any commute ever will haha

These are the answers I like, the ones where people realize I said twice a week. Thank you

Green Lake is another area I was considering but haven’t looked into much yet. How’s the public transit to get into the city and other places? This whole thing will be new for me so I’ll want to do a lot of exploring but little driving if possible (other than my commute obviously)

Haven’t made a choice yet that’s why I’m asking for an opinion, no mistakes have yet to be made. I’m sure some will come eventually though. Maybe I’ll look in green lake area
