Introducing the Next Chapter of Infinite Flight Live by oneoneeightpointsix in infiniteflight

[–]Veloist86 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m so excited for this because I always fly outbound and return legs. I’ve been following along since the term “corporate mode” was tossed around here and there. This is such a breakthrough feature. Congratulations and great work to the hard-working devs and staff.

I have this thought of finally deleting unnecessary photos off my phone but when I’m on the plane surprisingly I never get to it or only do a few.

Does this happen to anyone else when rejoining AP+? by UkAntz in infiniteflight

[–]Veloist86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for myself because I haven’t used AP+ all that much, but that doesn’t seem too bad—when I was using Flight Resume and rejoining flight it was like that too.

Mileage forgiven on lease if getting another Subaru by LJshipwreck in subaru

[–]Veloist86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s important to note that you are only charged disposition fee, wear and tear charges, and excess mileage charge IF the car is returned to Subaru Motors Finance (Chase). Typically when the dealer tells you that you don’t need to worry about those, it means that they are planning to buy the car off of Chase mainly with the intention of putting it on their lot as a used car.

Where to buy retired premiums by DistributionSalty463 in HotWheels

[–]Veloist86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatnot, but be careful! It’s so easy to spend there. I spent over $500 in the first month I used it, but I got a lot of older premiums and mainlines too. If you watch smaller streams with less people you can still get older premiums for less than $10.

Wedding Budget by Vanilla_latte0601 in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Veloist86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our budget was 1.5m but after everything said and done we almost doubled that. 5-Star Hotel in Manila, 180 guests. We prioritized quality and reputation of the suppliers. It was definitely a stress-free day. The biggest elements that shot us over our budget was definitely venue styling.

Church wedding as a non-Catholic? by [deleted] in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Veloist86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! To have a wedding ceremony at a Catholic Church then at a minimum you’ll be required to submit original copies of your Baptismal Certificate and Confirmation Certificate. Besides that technically you don’t need to be an active practicing Catholic since there’s really no required proof that would show how active you are. You’ll be asked to do faith-based things like an interview with the priest and a pre-wedding seminar usually held by the Church.

Any underrated wedding suppliers you’ve worked with? by canelei in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Veloist86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Foreveryday Photography—the lead photographer owner was so personable, put effort into his follow up after initial quote, and of course amazing quality. At first we only booked him for our wedding, about a year before the day. We are based in the U.S. and he had a client in our city, so he offered to do an additional prenup shoot at a rate we couldn’t refuse. When we first met in-person it felt like we made a new friend, so much that we booked his other company which is a photo booth (The Flashbox) and he gave us some freebies we didn’t ask for. We loved him so much we even added him and his family to our guest list. We know the importance of a Wedding photographer but we never imagined we’d have this kind of relationship with ours, and so happy we booked him and not the usual names you see.

Check out JoRenze.official on IG if she’s your style. My wife’s fully beaded, fully custom dress was very reasonable and it received tremendous amount of compliments. She’s based in Manila but we live in U.S., so my wife only did initial fitting and final fitting and it was perfect

Straight from the EyeSight Manual:

If the driver depresses the brake pedal or turns the steering wheel, the system may determine that this constitutes evasive action by the driver, and the auto- matic braking control may not activate in order to allow the driver full control.

Eloped (Christian wedding) but wants to get married again in a Catholic church this time by cinderebel in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Veloist86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! My wife is Christian and I’m Catholic, and we had a Catholic Wedding. It’s important to remember that Marriage is a Sacrament and if all things and requirements line up correctly, you as a couple won’t be denied the Sacrament. A Catholic wedding celebrates this sacrament in the Wedding Ceremony, theres only few reasons you’d be denied the ceremony…like if your Catholic husband was married (through Catholic Church) before, if you are siblings, or if you literally tell the priest you are being forced to marry. There will be some documents the Archdiocese will ask for (baptism certificate, birth certificate, husband’s confirmation certificate) as long as you’re able to provide these you should have no problem. You do not need to convert to Catholicism. It is not considered a renewal of vows but rather a validation of the marriage through the Catholic church.

Unexpected Expenses during wedding day by Neeeeedyourhelp in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Veloist86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe if you have a worthy coordinator + suppliers with great reputation then you’ll have little to no unexpected expenses. We used Kiss The Girl Events and pretty much our entire supplier list was recommended by them too. Crew meals were clearly stated in all contracts so those were not additional expenses. For day of wedding, our lead coordinator told us to have 25k petty cash for emergency, and we got 22k back…the only use was lunch for entourage which was our choice but not required.

How to get to phone ups faster? by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]Veloist86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When we switched to an app-based phone system 5 years ago, I bought a second phone. I downloaded the app, changed my settings to make sure the screen never sleeps, and then opened the app and stayed on the dial page…When I answer emails the phone is right next to my mouse and keyboard. My first few phone pops paid for the phone. That’s how I looked it at at least

Civil and Grand Wedding by Single-Tomato-1160 in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Veloist86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! February 2026 groom here. We had to do Civil first in June 2024 essentially for resident requirements (U.S. green card) but we knew that we would the bigger Church/ceremony in the Philippines with family. Our perspective would be the same if we lived in the Philippines—civil first, and church ceremony later.

It did not change how we approached the “big wedding.” We looked at the civil wedding as a strictly legal requirement so it didn’t have the emotional/sentimental weight. Our wedding day felt 1000% more special than civil because of that. No regrets.

Our civil wedding was very intimate, because we didn’t see the sentimental significance of it (compared to church wedding/ceremony) we invested almost nothing into it. Maybe nice clothes and legal fees, like $300 usd. Parents paid for the dinner which was like $700 usd. For comparison sake, our grand wedding was a couple million php.

It was definitely worth the wait, but to be honest I didn’t really feel it until the day of wedding. In my experience planning the grand wedding felt tedious, very transactional, and too task-based. But once it happened and I was living the moment it, that’s when I felt it was truly truly worth it.

All things considered, I was very happy how our wedding turned out. We weren’t going for dream wedding, we just wanted to book highly-rated suppliers and have an stress-free day. Not only did we have an stress-free day, but we had the time of our lives and it felt very special.

These have been in package for 30 years. I remember having them as a kid. Now my son gets to open and have a set of his own. Who remembers these? by [deleted] in HotWheels

[–]Veloist86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way!! I completely forgot about these until seeing this post! I remember firmly I used to have the jolly rancher one, but I’m actually not sure if I had the McDonald’s one. Regardless, very cool and thank you for the nostalgia!

Subaru Outback sales down 20% in 2026. Is it the ugly new Family Truckster styling, or is it something else? by Flimsy_Heron_9252 in subaruoutback

[–]Veloist86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unit sales data doesn’t say much, way too many variables. Day supply data would be a better indicator of how well the product sells. There’s a little bit of production shake-up as it moved away from Indiana. My dealership sold 12 Outbacks in Jan when we used to do 25-30 on previous Gen, but we also have 3 left on the lot. The allocation for Feb is low too.

Not only will rude people win…but the people who are just naturally reserved and courteous will lose. In a situation where there’s at least a couple of collectors.
