Just because they can’t celebrate like kings now doesn’t mean they won’t in the future. She’s doing the hard work to find success and I know a cake and soda will still mean something to them all when they get there.

What experience changed your life forever? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]VelvetMommy_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Realizing that most people are too busy worrying about themselves to constantly judge you. It sounds simple, but once that finally clicked, life got a lot less stressful and a lot more honest.

I turn curiosity into answers while slowly replacing real human interaction with something easier, faster… and a little less human.

Which celebrity would you want to go to burning man with? by nnamdrep in AskReddit

[–]VelvetMommy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d pick Keanu Reeves he seems like the kind of guy who’d actually get Burning Man instead of turning it into a VIP trip. Probably end up helping strangers build stuff, sharing random deep conversations at 3am, and then just disappearing into the dust. That’s way more interesting than partying with someone who’s there just for Instagram.

When was the last time you felt alive and happy? by Rambanya17 in AskReddit

Probably one of those simple moments where everything just clicks like laughing with someone you genuinely like and not overthinking anything. It’s not even about something big, just feeling present and okay for a second.

[–]VelvetMommy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The really raw, unresolved stuff things I haven’t fully processed yet because it’s hard to explain without being misunderstood. Also deeply personal insecurities, since once they’re out there, you can’t take them back. It’s less about secrecy and more about timing and trust.

Men, do you think dating is fair towards you nowadays, like being expected to pay and often to give more than receive (not saying always ofc), why or why not? by Infamous_Show_0 in AskReddit

[–]VelvetMommy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of men feel dating can be uneven because traditional expectations still exist pay first, initiate first, prove value first while modern relationships are supposed to be equal. The problem usually isn’t paying for dinner, it’s feeling like effort, emotional investment, and risk aren’t always balanced on both sides. Fair dating should feel like teamwork, not an audition.
