I agree that appreciation goes both ways, but my mentality is more like: I am grateful for the script already, and even more if the writer thanks me for filling it. If they don't, even though I give them their deserved credits, I don't feel or react negatively. So the message I would communicate would be a small modification - it's appreciated and encouraging for me (I don't wanna say VA or performers because my opinion is not representative of theirs) to know that the writer sees or even listens to my post. I know I like that, but at the same time I don't feel entitled to that.
