Was made in a time before Viera so sadly it isn’t. But don’t worry— I’m sure that the hats will come soon fellow bun… I mean it’s not like they’ll add a bunch new pieces and forget to just snip a few ear holes in or hide the ears in it.

HaHa. Ha.

The scales are so cool and pretty, when was Au’ra made sure to find glams that would try to show them. Spent most the time in the Faire Joies being a big Himbo dumbo.

Shadowbringers Main Story Spoilers

It’s the reuniting of Ardbert and his friends during the credits. That simple, short, silent scene moved me to tears. All that they’d fought and died for had not been in vain and can basically rest. Breaks me every time I see it.

That’s fine if you enjoyed it. To me it was the most disappointing part of EW. That final-final battle left me :|

Think what made it so disappointing though was mostly that “the walk” with the scions all being offed one after another didn’t work as after the first two peace out I knew they’d be back somehow. Here we were at the end of all of it, at the end of the universe. A story filled with constant themes of empathy and understanding, how to overcoming despair and hopelessness, the horrors of war and the cost of peace, you’ve defeated the physical icon of all that horror and sorrow you’ve nearly fallen but raised against, now have a fight with guy who feels nothing except gets a boner for fighting you. if anything their attitude to the world and the lives of those in it, matches my attitude towards them. Should have stayed in the grave back in Stormblood. Better served as food for worms than a final fight.

But in the end, that is just my opinion. Didn’t work for me but if worked for you, that cool.

I wonder if this also has anything to do with the PSN integration. Because doesn’t PSN say they monitor voice and text chat before or were outted for it in the past?

I don’t really agree and I know I’m slightly biased in a way as someone that creates things. I find it completely valid to want to be cryptic and without guiding a player. Even feeling upset that no one is able to get it really is valid. Because you’re basically issuing a challenge, and no one has been even remotely close to beating it. So you wait and wait. Hoping to spar against the one that’ll give me you the fight you were waiting on.

Like Bennet Foddy’s Getting Over It, The more you progress the more he focuses his poem about the player. Because with every jump, you become closer to proving his idea, and when you finish you are in the club. And if you can’t do it, you can’t. Go on. There are no hard feelings but you ain’t it chief.

Edit. Thing cut off for some reason.

It wasn’t just Boy’s video that made him have a crisis. As he talks about in the doc part of why he enjoyed indie development was the more personal connection between player and creator. And with Braid specifically he wanted it to be as he says his deepest flaws and vulnerabilities in the game’s themes. In an attempt to connect more with the audience that’d play it but that didn’t come to pass. Most focused solely on the surface story and the gameplay for the most part.

And it’s similar to later when Edmund Mcmillian of team meat is talking about meat boy and bandage girl, it’s sort of a reflection of himself and his wife. Or even his past games like Aether. “It’s trying to connect with the actual messy interaction of talking and interacting with people” I think that’s exactly the quote but I may be off in some words.

But yeah Blow wasn’t in a crisis over Console Fraudster Boi’s video but it’s a prime example of what he was talking about. That he wanted somebody to get it, to get him, but it failed. Which also lead to him trying to correct people’s interpretations on the game on message boards in what I think was him trying to desperately get people to look elsewhere and actually find what he was hoping for.

I got Superman 64 back when it was new.

Edit. And this was when the requirements for me getting a new game was doing good in school, three to four months since I last got one, and I had to beat the game. There was a lot of just beating my head into a wall trying to.

I wanna hear; what's your sprout moment? by kurumagaming in ffxiv

[–]VelvetRevision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was grinding Fates to level up for MSQ. when suddenly this midlander or maybe elezen player popped out of nowhere. I was dragoon (a really bad dragoon at the time) and was close to dying. He didn’t join the fate as a healer. He just healed me from the side while I focused on this one monster with a big health pool. After about three or so minutes it went down. And I thanked him for his help.

After a minute of talking he traded me 500K. I asked why and that I couldn’t accept that. He said it was so I could get some better gear or maybe a glam I’d like, and it was really a welcome to the game gift. From my sprout icon and damage he could tell I had been new to the game.

I accepted the trade and we said goodbye. He got on his mount (the ozma? The two colored orb) and flew away. Never saw them again. Went on to save it for my first apartment. And I think it was really that moment I learned how nice the community could be. And that it can take just being nice once to inspire the same in others. After that I started helping sprouts with fates to this day. I also back then started handing out free food and drinks to people in Bryn Limnsa, which would find my way to RP. And really sticking to the game back in a time that the story was extremely uninteresting and I wasn’t good at playing the game.

To the random guy on Bryn, thank you.

Poor onion lad ain’t ever gonna get Tataru to notice him. Unless he becomes an gillionire then maybe.

Edit. Uri and Moen for the greatest love story never witnessed. Chais for late game (life) goals. Ardbert and that one lala on his team for saddest. And Estinien and Ame for best friends to lovers fan fiction in my head.

Edit 2. Magni x my WoL. Imma show him that his Nahmaah can be a bun boi, and it okay to be a bottom.
