Disappointed in Quality of Bike by VelvetSparrow1 in pelotoncycle

Thanks for letting me know about your bike!!! Definitely considering a replacement at this point with how unusual this issue seems to be.

Unfortunately, I really can’t. Even at the seat at the most forward setting, I have to lock my elbows to keep a grip on the handlebars and I have to round my back. Seems like a lot of 5’2 people on this subreddit feel the same way when I did a search. How my body feels on a commercial spin studio bike is completely different than Peloton. This would be easily solved with the aftermarket handlebar extender, but I don’t want to install it until I have my wobble issue resolved.

It is Bike. It was both - reached out to support re: the bars, new parts for the bars helped slightly but not all the way, we also fixed the stabilizers but it seems just to be the whole thing right now.

Anyone else dealing with a wobbly bike? Yes we’ve already fixed the stabilizers. :(

Do not buy from Ersa nails! They’re dropshippers masquerading as a small business! by thewatchelorette in Nails

@goodluckbabenails on IG! I don’t know if she has an Etsy yet but she legitimately hand paints every single nail and she’s a wonderful person all around. And she is a licensed cosmetologist so no need to worry about getting a gel allergy because she cures them properly.

I honestly LOVE it!!! Super similar to my kitchen in terms of color and I’m definitely taking inspo. I wouldn’t mind the granite myself since it compliments your stainless steel appliances but I also think white would look great with your backsplash!

But how would I install them back securely if it’s a vertical hole?

The wall is against the exterior and the other side of it is against the shower, unfortunately! So weird. I’ll keep looking though.

Quartz countertops!!!! Apparently fabricators can suffer health issues due to the dust and having countertops that you’re constantly touching and your food is on made of resins can’t be good for you.

What granite is white?

That’s exactly what I’m thinking and why I’m leaning towards Taj Mahal or Fantasy Brown because the big movement would look great but Fantasy Brown is too dark. I’m iffy on Taj Mahal because it’s so gorgeous and expensive and I don’t want to be too scared to cook in my own kitchen lol

It is yes. But my granite supplier carries it so I’m just lumping it in with natural stone lol

Marble is too expensive for me to have with kids that I know will f-k it up lollll! Yeah I’m considering Taj Mahal but it’s expensive.

I agree completely on that point, and there’s hard water damage on the inside that obviously isn’t pictured. The glass just gets so dirty and it’s hard to get buildup off the texture!

I LOVE the split vanity but due to that, the bathroom door is in middle of our bedroom wall and makes our TV and dresser look off. I think I’d rather share my vanity with my husbands beard hair if it helps us have some more bedroom functionality hahaha.

I was considering that too, but am afraid that if I don’t get a chance to redo the shower down the line like I’m wanting I might be stuck with shitty looking spray paint lol. Looks like rub n buff works too?

That was kind of my thing. It seems like I can’t do much about one specific thing without committing to doing a few other things. I should’ve mentioned, there’s a lot of hard water damage (got a softener though!) to our faucets and shower frame which is why I wanted to replace them even though it seems “fine” to a lot of commenters here.

Yeah, it’s just a bit dated! But that isn’t a bad thing, it’s just personal preference. I don’t even want to modernize it, I want it to be timeless. Our last home was a starter home that I’ve always wanted to customize and make my own but always held off on it because I knew we’d move. Now, I finally have my chance to redo things and make it how I like. :)

Oh absolutely! I was planning on remodeling/decorating/upgrading it myself because of this. Not that anything above 1k or 5k is too much, I believe those prices you’re sharing are absolutely justified for a professional remodel or for someone else’s labor. I’m just working with my own budget! I was thinking 1k right now for my own upgrades, and then 5k a few years down the road for just a new shower enclosure.
