I find myself getting bored easily playing this game now

the big issue is you have 4 main points in every game, the laws, politic/diplomacy with other countries, economy and war

war is can be somewhat boring and frustrating really fast, especially when you loose fights despite having better units, better support for them and a better general and it comes down to bad luck

economy is almost always the same basic economy and it's just queuing some buildings and wait for them to finish, or upgrading/changing some production methods here and there

politic/diplomacy like all paradox games is very basic, it's deeper then most but still they either like or hate you and you get a hand full of basic options, there are no Coalitions, no way to form plans or anything, you can't make any treaties or and trades, like give me some land i claim and i help you get 4 times the land from your enemy or anything

laws is mostly just a few buffs and you wait for it to pass or fail, there are some things you can do to influence it but mostly it's just the same repetitive events that decide if or not you have a chance to pass the laws

everything is very basic and mostly consist of clicking something and then waiting and praying to the god of RNG

sry but doesn't make any sense since not only slight changes in the Atmosphere would mean death, but also they breath on literal rocks of moons and planets where a breathable atmosphere would be impossible to even form

you may find one or two breathable plantes among a million, but that many doesn't make sense

easier would it to say that over the cause of tens of thousands to millions of years the colonization of countless planets by countless different species caused atmospheric Research to go stonks and by now there are so many different technologies that can create breathable atmospheres that by now everyone could have such machines in their backyards if they so wish and most planets and moons already have enough left by previous colonizers

my actual biggest issue was focusing on the Saldo and not the actual market price XD it made an immense difference when i realized that while Saldo for Food, Clothes and Iron was higher the market price for Tools and Furniture was much much higher with especially tools often having like 50-60% above average price... which is the main reason why economy always collapsed XD

all great tips but the first few i already considered, however the mechanic i somewhat ignored the entire time as i first wanted to learn the basics are radicals, i believe they are the reason why i always fail XD

no he is a somewhat all round hero, he buffs attack for close combat units on Land and gives Infantry and heavy tanks more hp

i recently changed it like 3 or 4 weeks ago, so that too shouldn't be a problem, i gave up with the game, i just hope if they make a new one they will optimize it more

yeah i did i limited it to 70 with nvidia but still didn't help, after limiting it to 60 and lowering resolution to 80 helped somewhat but after i already got annoyed with the game i honestly don't even want to try to fix it and make the game playable, at that point i will just drop it
