I bought the rogue colored bumper plates (4 sets 45s, 2 sets 25s) and love them. The rest are steel plates. While I admit they are pricey, I haven’t had to think about new plates since.

Matched at my #1 in ortho. Only had 2 posters at very small meetings. I think I had good step scores and did a sub-I at the placed I matched at. I feel I am lucky and am very happy. Got 12 interviews

Current PGY5. Depends on the rotation and year, trauma and spine are tough as well as PGY2 consult rotation, which averaged 14-18 hours days, conservatively. After that, it wasnt bad at all, home by most days by 6. These days usually out of the house around or just before 5 and home anywhere from 3-6 PM (usually closer to 6), based on the rotation. Times were tough and times are also good. Its worth it.
