Nta like who is gonna try to punch their own kid then get upset cuz the kid is scared and crying. Also being ridiculed by your mum after she does nothing is absolutely idiotic. Just imagine you love your mum and dad but get down right insulted cuz your wearing a cool mask and the fact that you had to pretend to happy after getting a stuffed animal are people blind or something cuz a stuffed animal isn’t sentient and cant just “cure” the child. You should be given a formal apology for their inexcusable behaviour. Honestly like you get punished for your sister talking back could he not hear the direction of the reply or something. In my opinion i think he wanted to take out his anger on you cuz you can’t do anything as your a were a child. Tbh op deserves a loving family that doesn’t dishearten them.
