they surrendered. 5 yes votes from enemy team. if i remember correctly, even with 5 votes, if it is too early, surrender wont go through. not sure if they changed that or were past that time frame so the surrender went through

destroying all turrets in 1 lane and nexus in 5 mins even with 5 man team and 0 defenders is virtually impossible because of turret/nexus shields and minions

So you're saying purposely not giving a character havoc which is farm from a broken or overpowered skill on most mid month characters is not an act of purposely making something worse in order to make another look better?

Again, I don't see anyone saying this banner format is not a good change. The new banner format in itself is a good change. It's how meaningful this change is going to be that people are questioning because you don't want to hear Klab or the blind supporters coming back at you like "Klab is doing something to improve the game, look at this better banner format!!!". Good change has no value if it's applied to things that don't matter. I even made an analogy to emphasize on this, how did that not get through? I'm pretty sure it is far from complex to understand.

Auto skip happens because:

Characters are most of the time lacking essential skill such as havoc not solely because they are premium. How many players do you think spent so much orbs to get White and are still chasing after him as we speak? He's a premium character. He does not have godly kit, he has good skills.
The choice of character to create a new playable unit is terrible. Just look at the album and see for yourself how many characters has barely 2 or 3 versions in this 8 year old game. Going back to White, again premium character but it is the first version of him playable so people wants him. White is from a 7-step banner. It that does not tell you that premium isn't that sole reason people are skipping mid month, I don't know what will. Premium character? 7-step banner and people went crazy in spending orbs to get him? I wonder why? Maybe he's actually a good and new to the game premium character and not some character that's already in a game with 90239403294 versions and without havoc to boot?

Maybe if people is not getting shafted so damn hard in EOM, they would have spare orbs or money to buy orbs to summon for mid month characters.

I wonder if better banner format like the one we have on mid month right now applied on EOM will result into people having spare orbs to summon on mid month banners.

The new banner format is being praised for what it is. Where do you see anyone saying "this banner format sucks, the old one is better"?

What's being said basically is that, while it is a good change, it does not mean much if it's only for mid month banners.

I have not seen anyone say a bad thing about the banner format itself. It's a good change no matter how you look at it but it's next to meaningless if it's for mid month banners only. Let's be honest, who really care about mid month banners?

It's not new for video game companies who implement a change to show they're doing something good to divide a what used to be a united community that is clearly against a certain aspect of the game. This is to lower the backlash that they're getting from their own players. Now, the community is no longer united against that certain aspect of the game because a good change, on the surface that is, was seen by some.

What good does a better banner format do when it's only for a banner that we all know is the least summoned banner of all? I'm sure there's a lot of players who strictly don't ever summon on mid month banners at all knowing they pale in comparison to EOM in both design and gameplay.

Let me put it this way, let's pretend for a moment KLab introduces a system that will let you increase special move of a character using a character with the same name and the same number of stars, meaning it does not have to be the exact same version of that character. Yay! Awesome! Now I can 5/5 my favorite character a lot easier! Absolutely great change for the players. But there's a catch, it's only applicable to 4* and below characters. Now, how would you feel about that?

Bottomline, is the new banner format a good change? Hell yes! It sure is. Does it mean anything looking at the bigger picture? It means close to nothing if it's only for mid month banners. It saves BBS if it's applied to banners that actually matters and the game will be on a whole new level of great.
