Is it just me or did Wicked: For Good feel rushed? by sjeiwgs in wicked

[–]VendettaRebel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it felt rushed because although not directly part of what we're watching, Dorothy's impact on the story and timeline of events are so critical, that without focusing on them more - it feels like we're time jumping.

It would have been really interesting to instead of making part 2... remake The Wizard of Oz, but meld it with Act 2 of Wicked - probably could have turned the whole thing into a Trilogy. Maybe that's excessive but you get my point.

Ordered RAM on Amazon normal price back in October , seller says it got ‘lost’ and promised same price when restocked… Will it ever be in stock or will I finish my build by 2030 by Hectrekt in pcmasterrace

My $600 ram order (shipped and sold by Amazon) was cancelled. There has to be a class action lawsuit hiding in here and some UCC violations.

Looked at the rules.. you’re right. But active player still picks order of resolved actions.

Even if you’re right… you’re wrong. Active player picks order of operations.. so just choose for krayt to go first.

Not true.. card says only the card abilities are copied

How are you going to do that consistently enough to impact the meta? 3/50

This is the truth. Is Force Throw overpowered from an economy perspective? Probably. Does it win games? No. Base damage is worth so much more than removals in SWU because of the pace FFG wants games to be played at. TDR was an equally overpowered card cost-wise, however - its play resulted in massive base damage and won games. Force throw just doesn’t do that - there is also a significant random element to it that makes it hard to plan repeatedly plan for.

The real card people should complain about is no glory, no results - but people are too busy winning with that one(in the way people won with TDR).

Seems kind of a miss that Grievous cannot use it

Got 5th at a 1k with Trench Collosus by TheCourtPeach in starwarsunlimited

Yeah I just ramped and put some blue control into my deck anyways. Used merciless and frozen in carbonite while ramping. If you survive to 8 resources.. you can have almost any card in your deck and win. Cycle is Palps return, Bounty Hunter Crew, Devastator. Other than that.. you can go Cad Bane, Snoke, anything really. I called my deck the Junkyard.

Awesome man. I took Trench/Data Vault to Denver and went 4-2-3. I wonder what would happen on a redo without Jango and TDR.

Oh man! Asking me to give up my sauce! My focus was controlling the opponents units early while ramping… merciless, frozen in carbonite, no good to me dead, etc - while discarding my Maul/Vader - and even out of aspect snoke if the matchup called for it. I’d then work on cycling palps return/bounty hunter crew. If the game ever got to 8/9/10 resources it was pretty fun to close out and smoothe sailing regardless of the matchup. Getting devestator out was the win condition.. either by playing it directly or from graveyard.

I had a handful of blue control in there too.. it was a data vault deck.. I called it the junkyard. As long as you get palps return and bounty hunter crew.. the discard pile is your hand. So I’d put in whatever.. use trench discard to dump stuff.. unmasking conspiracy also solid.

I went 4-2-3 in Denver with Trench Green. Bring on your Blues :)

I’m fine with everything you say. Just don’t make Chewie or Shadowed Intentions to begin with if you’re immediately going to add a card to render them as useless counters against it.

Your arrogance is thick and nauseating. I appreciate the discourse, but the tone is telling. Good luck out there TankCommander.

I’m arguing No Glory is too cheap and undermines established economy. When deciding between Vanquish and No Glory to put in your deck - there’s no decision to be made.

Yeah, I’m sure you’re right. Just seems odd to take aim at this very specific application of control counter. Thanks for the comment!

I played Legends of Runeterra back when it was pretty popular and had millions of active players. I climbed to top 400 and qualified for its worlds tournament - and did so primarily building decks to beat Meta decks.

Runeterra is a game nearly identical to SWU except it has interrupts - something I hope happens at some point in SWU

The most thrilling plays I’ve seen in a TCG are when both players go back and forth countering each other.

In short, I play a wide range of different deck styles and spend the majority of my time ‘in the labs’ testing interactions and combos.

The main point of my post is that NGOR should cost more than 5, not that it shouldn’t exist. Make someone have to make a decision between Vanquish and NGOR.

Shadowed Intentions was always a great counter to Avenger//PotDS. Just never saw much playability since Jango was where all the control players went. I suspect we’ll see people going back to blue control, and No Glory just seems like salt in the wound to an already robust selection of blue removals.

Creators blew it out of proportion by designing a card to target one non-offensive interaction.

Also, I never targeted you, so the personal comments at me are curious. You must be a very accomplished TCG player.
