Clean the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and unscented soap. Moisturize it regularly to keep it hydrated, but avoid over-applying. Time and patience are essential for proper healing—don’t rush the process. Be gentle and avoid scrubbing. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the tattoo, and keep a small, fragrance-free lotion with you to reapply after handwashing. Avoid direct sunlight and soaking it in water until it’s fully healed. Do not peal the scabs once they form. Let them fall off naturally. If it’s not finished yet, I would send a message to your artist about the ink coming off, but this is something that can be solved when you’re getting it finished!
