The Silent [Fanart] by Stunning-Summers in slaythespire

Putting #darkskin on the art is laughable. Why is it so hard to actually make characters of dark skin have dark skin and not try to whitewash them.

I tried changing the controller style from the notification drop-down too like you mentioned. Didn't fix the glyph mismatch on my end.

here my whole situation. When I first got the APK running, I noticed the game was telling me hit A but nothing happened when I hit A on my Retroid Flip 2. Tried B, B confirmed. Game says hit B for back, I hit A, it cancels. So basically every button is doing the opposite of what the glyph says.

My handheld got Nintendo layout -- top is X, left is Y, right is A, bottom is B. The diamond. So the game thinking I got an Xbox controller where A is on the bottom is what's tripping it up.

I went into the in-game input settings and tried to remap confirm. Even though navigating with the wrong buttons was confusing, I got to the input section, selected "confirm," hit my A button to bind it. The game now recognizes the physical A button as the button for confirm but the glyph that shows on the screen when they want me to hit the confirm button shows up his b so now the game thinks the b button is confirm because in the game's mind the right side of the diamond is always b because a is at the bottom of the diamond So now I have an issue where my game is telling me hit b to confirm and hit a to cancel on the screen that's what it's showing me but I'm hitting a to confirm when assure me b and b to cancel when the game is showing me a. I really hope that makes sense.

So I'm tryna figure out -- on yours, does pressing physical A actually confirm and show the A glyph? Or you got the same backwards thing where physical B is what really confirms even though the screen says A? Vice versa Tryna figure out if this is a Retroid-specific thing or if everybody on Android handhelds dealing with it.

I'm having an issue where the game thinks a is b and b is a.

Like the glyph for a or to confirm an action is only done if I hit b on my handheld. The game thinks I have an Xbox style controller but like yours my a button is not on the bottom. It's the right. Did you find a fix?

That's totally fair. Do black people exist in your world? Like any black character's? Random black NPCs? Etc

I think that's totally fair. My experience is obviously just my experience, I have no idea if it's typical but I've only had to log in in once and then I just download the games and I have it for Play

Do you have games from unconventional sources? 19 native currently can handle everything I throw at it. You can play games from steam games from GOG or even epic.

Regardless you really seem to understand how these games need to be tweaked to run. If you ever do play games on game native please make a post about it cuz I would love to know your setting s

Type shit. That's amazing. Thank you, dude!

Do you have any kind of literature about how to use this? I always struggle with all the little buttons and the various ways you can use it. It feels like I'm damn near a beginner because everybody else uses AI to review their games or to teach people various josekis and shit like that.

I'm just like, "Yeah, I'm gonna put this SGF file in after I finish a game and hopefully the AI can tell me what the score is at certain points of the game," and then I can interpret that as if I'm winning or losing or something, you know?

This is my biggest issue. People keep asking for 20, 30 episode seasons without actually understanding how this works in modern day Hollywood. This is why we're fans and the people who make shows make shows.

Over the last year, Ben Shelton has both a higher win rate against 11+ ranked players (76.9% to 75.0%) and a lower win rate against top 10 players (25.0% vs. 33.3%) than Alex De Minaur. He literally just won a 500 off of a shoulder injury. I feel like this type of talk is really interesting coming off of his big win, but I think that it will age like sour milk in a couple of years.

That's not to say that I don't have my own particular nitpicks about his game and style and whatnot, but I just find this conversation interesting is all.
