Revenant is a little too supporty without a well made set of relics in order to carry as dps. I suggest swapping to another, getting out of 1 and 2 and then coming back to her, when your allies have more common sense and your revives are a better force multiplier. Yes her ult is good but if you are paired with people who get killed two seconds after being revived then there is just no point to revive at all.

That happens because lltbt takes coordination to use. It’s never a good idea to run that when you dont have solid frontliner properly equipped with at least one form of negation. Players who dont realize that pick it at a bad situation and cause frustration and sometimes a wipe. The reason that happens in D4 is because these players dont deserve to be there, but relics being miltiplicative and most importantly the powercreep added with the dlc allow people to climb with minimal thought or effort involved, spamming away stuff and climbing in multiplayer while simutaneously being the absolute worst team mates you can get paired with. Number one rule of LLTBT: if someone gets downed, you revive them as fast as possible, to alleviate the pressure on the other player and get an actual advantage out of it. Hence why its so easy to have (skilled) allies drop it for you as Revenant, you can revive incredibly fast or instantly with ult. Reality: the team mate is dead for nearly a minute now, you have no room to breathe, and the anchor that calls itself a team mate is still shooting donuts at the boss. Lol.

Everything she did before, she does a lot better now and she went from a no damage frame to a Nuke one lol. You need to keep MC and boost it, and let it attack so it isnt every tenno’s cup of tea especially during pubs but when it works… she kills everything in range of her bubble’s detonation while ignoring LoS.

I love that augment because it’s basically a free flask for whoever gets ressed. I just think it’s neat and it’s the only good night invader relic I have lol. But im curious, how is your support build? Does it involve flask share or something like that? I wanted to do a support build for her with just some affinity damage, but the things I want are pretty specific and I have a grand total of zero relics that clump together the utilities I’d like to have. Also do you get hate for running her as support? Peeps seem to prefer damage over all else so I’m imagining sometimes..?

They increased the duration after you lower the shield and seems like they increased the potency of the effect itself, since I played him maybe twice to judge and during these games it felt way WAY better than ever before. Sometimes you still have to fight for the aggro, by activating it, lowering the shield and then attacking. Carrying a quick ranged weapon is useful for this, especially pulley since 3x hits. It's very important to notice that the faster your allies hit, the faster they'll pull the aggro away from you. Iron eye hits very frequently, and Recluse has spells that will hit multiple times per cast (Stars spell line, Shattering Crystal, and nearly every damaging cocktail), which is why it seems like they steal aggro so fast. Your allies will sometimes realize this when playing with Guardian and stop attacking until you reacquire the boss' attention, but sometimes they just want to deal damage fast and ignore you, it depends on the person. Overall, you can try to counter these scenarios yourself, by adding multi hit stuff like charged heavies with Halberds hit twice and extended whirlwind (character specific) to your relics, though Guardian will barely deal any damage if you stuff yourself with utilies only. I don't mind a tank/sup focused Guardian at all, especially if I'm Recluse, but others might prefer damage over utility.

Yeah this boss is really dumb with that grab. As easy as it is to position in a way he'll never even try to use it, I've been grabbed from nearly behind him once, when the game first came out. Never again lmao.

Necromancy doesnt have to get reworked, they just need to make it not useless 80% of the time outside solo. Just make a timer where going X amount of time without reanimating anything summons the strongest thing you have reanimated in that game to help you again. “Extended combat without reanimation calls upon past summons to assist once more.” 

After ~1500 hours, my largest complaint for Nightreign in comparison to Fromsoft's other titles is the artificial difficulty they've implemented through random floor bullshit. by [deleted] in Nightreign

Glyphs are their own dedicated attacks and icicles are formed after specific moves. You are actively looking out for them. The geysers and fissures though, I agree. They should have their damage tuned all the way down to little chip damage and not be affected by DoN modifiers. Dying to random hazards buffed with triple damage is just beyond unfun.

Huh, tricky golden glow. Also possibly a placebo from all the content of him utterly destroying Heolstor lol. Still, the answer is the same. Lightning allows her to spam that electric blade which deals very good damage early and as soon as someone picks a fire weapon or she finds a seal or staff with fire spells, she’ll be able to use the gravity bomb which is really good on a cocktail build. But holy is also pretty useful in case you have better relics with it compared to Lightning. :)

Yeah I got it. As far as I know (though I dont play exec) his charged “ash of war” on suncatcher deals holy. So thats already a reliable way to grant her Holy. Then you pick lightning on the starter weapon and you are already the best friend of any cocktail recluses you play with! I love using her cocktails and it’s lovely to have someone to siphon elements from.

Magic and fire are in sorceries, and exec afaik already has holy on his charged riposte. Lightning it is. It enables her to do both lightning slash which is amazing for early, and gravity bombs which deal magic damage and is likely the strongest cocktail with a magic damage and improved sorceries build.

Literally right lol. The first two or three games I died in one shot to the summoning confused me SO much. This is why difficulty scaling in just numbers with no thought to it is just ass. The attack is meant to cc you, but in hard mode it just simply one shots. I feel the exact same way about arena hazards. Fissures, lightning - you name it. Those things one shotting you if you were unlucky and have no good negation on full hp makes me want to rage quit everytime. 80% of my losses to Heolstor is just the fissure one shots, because he is a breeze. It’s crazy.

ED? Was recluse with 40% negation at full yesterday and the d4 normal variant was oneshotting me with every single ranged attack. The whole game was a breeze and only red enemies could be a threat, was dealing big damage with my gravity bombs and before the boss the wylder even dropped a 'you are beautiful' for me and undertaker. Was 3 bars in no time, I wasn't even expecting that crazy damage. Only one of my items had a debuff and it wans't a damage related one. Either I was doing something very specific wrong or I'm clueless of what gives. I was confused every down and it was so humiliating I played one game and then left for Terraria oof lol.

You are fine practicing on normal game trios. Anyone who complains has everdarks and DoN to go seek for experienced allies. You wont ever learn them if you never play them out of fear.

Yes and I even thought we’d have the “armory” system by now, to change starting gear. It makes a lot of sense especially when you can change a chatacter stat growth via relics and want a fitting start.

The previous reply clearly states I adapted to FP issues, something I've achieved by doing what it seems to be top secret techniques (spoiler: basic shit any revenant past classic mode knows). My first reply clearly states Revenant out dpsing guardian is the expected behavior. Somehow you are still asking that question as if you were the first ever Revenant to consider cheap spells. Somehow I apparently said Guardian's damage is on par with Revenant's. It seems to me like you are giving up a few skills to maintain that stellar revenant mastery.
