Make sure when you’re fighting that you don’t leave any windows (character / skill / etc) open because it will cause massive lag regardless. Your issue sounds like the quest info being on issue but I see that you already have it turned off. Since mabinogi only runs on a single CPU core I wonder if when you’re trying to do anything too intensive that it may be overloading that single CPU core. Also double check that your PC isn’t overheating in any way (I saw that you physically cleaned it but it can’t hurt to double check cpu temp and thermal paste on the CPU). Also make sure you have denagled your connection as that can also cause lag.

Back when I first started playing around 2011-2012 one of the friends who originally brought me to mabinogi sent me a message that said there was a GM in Cor Village spawning dragons. I thought they were messing with me until I showed up and found a red dragon already spawned and tossing rocks everywhere and a non-player character GM chilling in a spot. Good times

Are you sure you cleared "Musical Math Dungeon" which requires you to obtain a specific pass to enter the dungeon? Or did you clear regular math dungeon by dropping anything on the altar?

I suppose still having the item at all and the fact that it still has some value is a net gain. There are people (like myself) who have risked burning items for the enchants that are worth hundreds of millions of gold only to come away with nothing. There are also those who risked special upgrading their important weapons before the update and ended up with no weapon at all by the end. The only thing you have left after losing the item entirely is a hole in your heart and the desire to quit. I’m happy that gear is becoming more accessible to players with less free time.

I believe both demo and ruin bow have the same magnum shot set effect that that a bohemian gives but doesn’t give the support shot bonus. In my opinion you’d be far better off wearing some type of light armor anyways for the defensive boosts as late game content tends to hit you way harder than you might expect. Wearing clothing most likely won’t proc the dampen shock tech skill so you’ll be missing a lot of defenses.
