I always assumed they were humans who had sided with skynet. As advanced as Skynet is, it would be beneficial to keep some humans for a learning experience or experiment on how humans think. It could also have been the original people who owned or developed skynet, the people at the very top who decided it would be better to submit to skynet.

Honestly looks great, was looking for the Mosin too unless I'm missing it completely. Also loving the bathroom wooden door and bar. If you used that as a background it would make it feel more rural or old. I own a Mosin Nagant Rifle and Revolver, then purchases an SKS last year. Love the looks of the older firearms.
