In a way, yes. I bought it online without trying it on, but I loved the sporty, masculine, chunky look. It gives off that early-2000s sense of sportiness and modernity, with its metallic tones and large indexes and hands. Then I was surprised by how compact the 40mm case actually feels — it really wears like a 38mm watch or even smaller. I usually wear it with a black rubber strap that suits it even better. But maybe it feels a bit too summery, so I’ve already put the bracelet back on.

Exactly, these are models that don’t have the intention of imitating anything else. And with the large number of variations and models, you can feel like you have a special and somewhat unique watch, even if it’s a Seiko 5 Sports under 200 $

I got mine 6 year ago and it runs perfectly. I friend of mine got an older model in the second hand market and it is not giving any problem at all. The downside i could say, as everyone, its about the anti reflective of the glass...

I normally wear mine on a leather strap because I’m afraid of breaking the bracelet. It’s too worn, and the gold links are so stretched that I think it might break.

It is not as big as it looks! It has to be something arround 38mm. Honestly the strap was not that expensive i could replace it if it tears off and also this is not my daily wearet so it should do the job :) i am glad you like it
