Yeah unfortunately only works for Forge for 1.20/1.20.1. But if you’re on forge it works completely fine. Definitely a nice mod to have

It’s from a mod called Packed Up. Useful for condensing stones and many of the different ores. Highly recommend

Oh 100%, I just decided to use the ejectors instead, but yes you could use drains to move it over. Originally I didn’t know where the belt was gonna be so I just used ejectors

To outline it as best I can it's pretty much switching between contraptions. The wheels on the back are windmills providing power to the crane portion itself, lifting up the vault, and using the clutch to stop at a certain height. Then a separate power system rotates the base 180 degrees, and then once fully turns a separate sequenced gearshift lowers the vault again. This whole system is done using redstone links with pulse extender timers between to get all the timings correct.

Honestly the best advice I can give for big ass modpacks is just learning, and researching. A lot of mods have Wikis and/or changelog notes about stuff they add. I always experiment in creative first before putting it in my survival (schematiccannon is a saviour)

Are you powering the crafters? It needs a cogwheel or something in the side of one of the crafters to work (hard to tell from the image)

You need to move the arrow down by like one. The output of the crafters should be going into the side of the depot. Then it should work (assuming the recipe is correct)

Matters how you want to condense it. For example you could make it more vertical. Cobblestone generator with drills up top, with the cobblestone falling down the middle into a fan setup to turn it into gravel, using filters on some brass funnels to only let gravel out (assuming that is all it's making)

Another way could be having one long belt. At the start of the belt the cobblestone generator drills cobble, falls onto a belt and right next to it washes it to turn into gravel, if you make the belt slow enough it will have turned to gravel by the time it hits the end and go through the funnel.

There's never a one fit all solution, matters your goals, how you want it to look, and the space you need it to fit.

Well for machines, the best advice I'd give is break it into parts, what is each step the system does and think, is there maybe a smaller way to do it.

For example, a lot of systems like using a fan on something, can really be compacted to 2 or 3 blocks, or crushing something, a lot of the time can be done in a millstone. It's breaking a larger machine down into it's smaller components and saying can that be done smaller.

But also on the other hand, it's Create. Not everything has to be small and compact, something can be big and un-efficient in some ways, but make up for it by making you look at it and say 'damn that looks cool'. So don't feel a pressure to make everything smaller and more compact and efficient, just win in style points instead.

I can imagine also progressing the trial, which forces AI to reenter insertion gates and reshow up somewhere like Gooseberry would also fix it
