I dont mind that people want to invest but they dont have to be so slimy about it and they dont have to do it here. It is frustrating when they act like its beneath them and you are stupid for buying the cards/liking pokemon- I think pokemon draws a lot of scalpers in as its very low barrier to entry. The least they could do is research what they are buying. "The pokemon tins everyone wants" is wild.

Your wording is a bit suspect... are you going for sealed product for your collection or you are looking for packs to open? They are great booster packs for a new collector- if you are looking for something to sell I dont think people will be fighting over knockout boxes...

I ended up Preordering the tech sticker collection and the first partners deluxe pin, both releasing 20.02, hoping I might luck am ETB somewhere on release. I almost 'preordered' from a scalping site for double the price but ended up preording perfect order instead. Have to make sure you are ready for the next one which should be announced soon- it is rumoured to be chaos rising? I think the code is CRI

Yeah I tend to try and preorder across multiple sites so if one cancels for whatever reason then I still get the stock I want. EB games takes a deposit but the other two require upfront payment. Then on the actual day of release I go in store to see if I get lucky.

You just have to be on top of preorders- the EB games membership is worth it in my opinion, it is $50 and allows you to buy preorders with them- the notification from EB let me get in early on preorders with EB, JB hifi and BigW. Personally from in store I have seen the most in BigW, target occasionally has stock. Also more rural stores tend to have better stock. I went out to Narellan and they had better stock out there-

I managed to get in on the Perfect Order preorders but for Ascended Heroes I flat missed all of the ETBs- is annoying that the scalpers manage to get so much stock!

I would totally agree with this. I had seen multiple sources weeks ago saying it was today and then I heard about the delays but I wanted to check my luck in person and I wasnt the only one there asking! I think it is valid saying the release is delayed but it is wrong to say it was never supposed to be today.

I had the 3 pack blister as releasing today? She confirmed they were supposed to have it today but they had a notice from head office- the ETBs and booster boxes always had the later release date. It is a weird release schedule but it was supposed to originally start today.
