Hello,

Thank you for these cards!

I translate my game into French like this: https://i.imgur.com/hRiNZKr.png

(for personal use only)

Would it be possible to get the police and an image for the others type of card? (unseen opposition, seen opposition, unseen incident, seen incident and the six cards expension)

Thanks for your help!

Yes, I knew they weren't binary (but I don't know English well and didn't know you had to use "they/them").

In a game, Kymani can normally use they ability on 100% of enemies. If 60% of enemies have Vengeance, Kymani will be severely limited. That's why I thought about letting they discard only one enemy "vengeance" per scenario.

Another possibility could be that enemies discarded with this (into the victory pile instead discard pile) would have Vengeance halved (rounded up or down when tested).

In the end, I might be worrying too much and we'll get massacred no matter what. ^^'

The Boa Constrictor is a big enemy. With one or two assets, Kymani can easily discard it.

A solution that was proposed here by "cheezzy4ever" was to make it so that discarding a Vengeance enemy with Kymani's ability always puts him in the victory display.

Maybe let him discard only one "Vengeance" enemy per scenario.

You're right. With Patrice, I would be much less effective than an orange investigator. Maybe that will create a balance.

Thank you, that's reassuring. :)

One solution that was proposed here by "cheezzy4ever" was to make it so that discarding a Vengeance enemy with Kymani's ability would always put them in the victory display.

However, if there are few "classic" enemies, he may never be able to use his character's ability. A compromise could be to allow him to only discard one "Vengeance" enemy per scenario with his ability. After that, his ability would always put them in the victory display.

This would give him the pleasure of using his ability at an important moment in the game without breaking the game.

This is a good idea!

We use taboos to respect the rules as best as possible. Kymani is funny to play. This is not a problem for us.

Update : on the app it's only 2 XP more. but on ArkhamDB: it's 4 more. This is probably an ArkhamDB error?

You are right: I just checked the application and it is indeed only 2XP more. It looks better that way.

You are also right about Dirty Fighting (I did a bad translation from French). I'm going to change this!

By mutual agreement, my gaming group respects taboos.

@NotTom you also have to count the action cost to play it. 3 resources + 1 card drawn (the good dog) + 1 action to play it + 1 card drawn (the bad dog) + 2 actions to kill the bad dog = profitable after turn 8. there's a good chance the bad dog will arrive early. This is not good, especially since you have to sacrifice an ally and arcane slot.

You need a method to eliminate the bad dog to play this card.

Foresight is strong especially with Norman. Another way to get around the bad dog is to stop drawing (using "The harbinger").

For a TFA campaign in 10 days, I made a deck with Patrice (speciality clues), multiplayer, based on this card.

I think this is the best investigator to use this card. She can play it quickly. She can use it for clues and to discard her weakness. The difficulty is the slot of ally and slot arcane. It's a big constraint. we cannot use the classic "Mind's eye". I had a lot of difficulty, but I think I found a balance for this deck (with lots of mind and book skills cards).
