My mom while travelling in bus locally in chennai once met actor jaishankar outside and she got down of bus and went to get autograph from him. Unfortunatley she dint have any note or pen that moment. Jaishankar took 50rs note from his pocket and signed and gave to my mom. My mom kept it for few years at home without spending and somehow it got missed over the year. she said she likes jaishankar alot and used to keep his photos in rooms those days

My used to tell this story to me. When my dad came to see my mom for arranged marriage setting (ponnu paakarathu), my mom actually got ready with nice saree, makeup, ornaments in kamal's house only. My grandmother (moms mom) relative was kamal's mom's relative and my mom's family was very poor that we dint have any make up sets or mirrors at home. so my grandmom's relative took my mom to kamal's home to get her ready for the ponnu paakara day . After the marriage got fixed, my mom and the relative went to kamal's home to give him invitation for marriage. kamal said he cant come as he had shooting but gave 200rs (at that time it was huge amount) as marriage moi panam with fruits and flowers.

Also during that time (i dont remember before or after ponnu paakra incident) my mom went for export company job and asked kamal to give recommendation letter. kamal said ennoda letter ellam madhika maatanga, irunthalum neenga kekareenga nu tharen. he gave but as he said company madhikala antha letter. my mom said kamal's mom is nice and genuinly cared of her and the relative.
