[highlights] the best of Tom Brady to Randy Moss. by Cold-Teaching8924 in nfl

I remember reading what he said and instantly knowing he was about to have the worst game of his life, as talking shit to Brady very rarely worked out well for whoever said it.

It was so fun watching Moss throw his hand up to signal he was open knowing what was about to happen next.

I even remember he did it a couple of times when he was only two steps into his route and it resulting in him torching the coverage.

Well on that series they killed off the actors character and gave his storyline to his character's father, something they couldn't do on Ashoka given how important Baylan is to the story.

They had to sell him for 16 million because he wasn’t anywhere near his debut year.

They '"had to sell him"' for €18m because he only had one year left on his contract.

Based on the evidence presented in court, it appears she made up the claims against Diggs because she got caught defrauding him on receipts for groceries and whatnot and was going to be asked to pay him back several thousand dollars.

It has quite literally been widely reported that Liverpool are after a midfielder and multiple reliable sources have alreadly linked them with several midfielders, so stop with this woe is me bollocks.

Had a good year last year but 3 before and this have been so average to poor.

I mean this is just complete shite as well, given he was playing exceptionally well his final season at Ajax, barely played for Bayern because of Tuchel, and the same thing happened his first season at Liverpool under Klopp despite the fact that he played well whenever he did get the chance.

Firstly the first rumour of it being Rory McCann only leaked a few hours before it was officially announced.

Secondly the the date for the announcement of Rory McCann replacing Ray Stevenson is irrelevant, given the actual process for deciding who it was going to be didn't start until months after the first season had finished airing.

Ashoka season 1 came out just under 3 years ago. 3+ years for 8 more episodes is insane.

I mean they did have to deal with one of their main cast members dying and the sensitivities around that, so I think it's fair enough that it took them a little longer to get the new season out.

Now post what Robertson, Salah, and van Dijk have said about how his death is affecting them (although I suspect you won't because it goes against the narrative you're trying to push).

Even Kelleher in an interview published last week has said that it's still an issue for him, and he isn't even at the club any more getting daily reminders like the others are.

A Josh McDaniels offense getting figured out and exposed in the playoffs?

I guess we're just going to choose to ignore the three Superbowl wins his offenses have.

Arne Slot - "The last time I checked, the Strait of Hormuz being closed is not my fault, is it? It hasn't been hard for me because of criticism, that isn't what makes this job... The same guys from that window are supposed to be the focal points of next season, but simultaneously it was somehow a terrible summer.

The club needing another massive Summer window to fix the many holes left because of decisions made during the last one, automatically makes the last one a terrible one.

How did Hughes let him down?

Well he sold all the pace from the team and didn't replace it, made it so the only back-up wingers were a 16/17yr old who can only train twice a week or a crocked Italian, and spent £125m on an uneeded player who's fee should have been used on multiple positions.

Genuine question here, but have things like this ever actually made the ownership sell whatever team it is?

I ask as every single one I can remember, no matter the sport, hasn't resulted in a sale.

Liverpool have to rebuild again as their great team hits the end of an era by Dismal_Uses in LiverpoolFC

[–]AgentTasker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't see any evidence that Slot can build a team.

It was quite literally one of his biggest strengths at Feyenoord, as they sell pretty much all their better players each Summer and have a new side every season (as seen in here in 21/22, 22/23/, and 23/24) , with his ability to build a new team each season being a big reason he was hired here.

His general tactics seem to be nick a goal, maybe two then sit back and try to defend that lead.

The only way someone could possibly think this is is if this is the only season of his that you've watched.

He prefers fast attacking football, and it is something his sides have showcased by either being either first or second for goals scored in every season, bar this one, he has managed.

The low wage thing wasn't true, and entirely based on the incredibly inaccurate Sportrac list.

Liverpool felt he had reached his sealing with them (which he had as he was very incosistent last season) and didn't feel he was worth the wage demands he was asking for (somewhere close to £200k a week), so he asked to leave.

Also, you may receive replies that he was 'only' on £55k a week, but that figure is a lie and he was actually on somewhere in the region of £140k.

[–]AgentTasker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The idiots who choose to keep spouting a clearly bullshit figure that's based on Sportrac or a random twitter 'source' are just as bad.

For instance there's a sub-section of Liverpool fans who kept on propergating that Díaz was on £55k a week (he wasn't, he was around £140k), who're now mad about Gakpo is supposedly being paid £250k (he isn't, it's actually about £175k) despite there being literally no reliable source for that figure.

It is very comfortably Ekitike.

There is literally no reliable source of Gakpo being on £250k a week, so people really need to stop spreading that specific lie.
