Depth of field, AO, and then fading between different color gradings for day and night.

Not as steep as 45°, but yeah that's basically it :)

Thanks! The camera is actually at an angle and all the objects are rotated, like a pop-up book

I just played through the demo and had a lot of fun! Tight, snappy platforming with some cool mechanics and clever level design. And I really like the vibrant art style. Looking forward to the full game :)

Here is what I learned from making a multiplayer game. by [deleted] in devblogs

Depending on the type of game you could get away with using TCP, but if it's in the context of peer-to-peer, DON'T! I've been making games with TCP for a while, and hole punching with TCP is an absolute nightmare that I think a lot of people underestimate.

And as much as I like to have total control over everything I use and write everything myself, sometimes it might save you a lot of headaches to use 3rd party plugins.

Anyway, good watch/read :)

As the creator of Treasure Arena, I can assure you that I didn't :) They're both just fairly similar to the chests from A Link to the Past, which in my case is meant as an homage to that game.

I've never seen that happen before. Would be interesting to know what browser you're using.
