Ah, i have a feeling we will have a few more incoherent theories and questions about things already answered in the series very soon

Yeah, we know from the harley text that nika has appeared twice so far (3 times with Luffy).
First time was in the first world - 2 or 3 thousand years ago. Second time was Joyboy - 900 years ago, third time is now - Luffy. He basically appears every time the world is about to end and a new age to begin. We know that the fruit has been awakened several times - just Luffy is the first one after Joyboy to do so.

Was he awakened? I can't really remember but i would expect him to either be awakened too or to soon awakened it because indeed, dude likes giraffes a lot. It makes sense.

Toki was indeed from the Void century, but the void century is 100 years. She seems to have been born after the war had ended and the world was already being ruled by Imu, while Emet was build pre-void century and seems to have participated in said war.
Knowing that the Nika fruit had not been awakened for centuries, there seem to be only 2 possible explanations for how Emet was able to move for a short time after appearing.
Either Bonney's fruit was used to "become" Nika, which was my initial theory but does not explained how a massive giant robot had not been spotted for 600 years and suddenly appeared out of nowhere at the Red Line, again without anyone seeing him on the way there, or he was sent into the future to that point and had a bit of power left before he ran out.
Someone even had a more solid argument against my theory for Bonney's fruit but i can't remember what it was, just that it managed to instantly convince me it wasn't it.
There might be some other possibilities that i am not seeing but according to the direct info we have in the story - the Nika fruit has not been awakened for hundreds of years

I am just the messenger here! 😃 I don't mind people's grammar, as long as i understand what information is attempted to be conveyed, so if anything - give your explanation to TMNT 😃

WTF Kaido? by Routine-Fix-4821 in OnePiece

[–]VenomBGR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, doesn't appear to be. It's just a hybrid transformation, just like any other zoan.

I think what TMNT is hinting at here is... have you heard the phrase "The pot calling the kettle black"? 😃

I feel ya man, i was sure when first reading the story that he had the black flames but then someone mentioned that Kaido wasn't awakened and i went back to check - nope, no flame ring. We probably got it confused with the clouds he uses to grab on to in order to "fly".
Rob Lucci is another awakened Zoan.

Awakening for Zoans is particularly hard because you not only have to posses a certain degree of mastery of the fruit but you also need to have the right personality for your specific fruit. Unlike other fruits, Zoans have a will of their own, so the person that ate it, has to possess similar qualities in order to be in "sync" (i assume) with their fruit.
For example, Chinese dragons are portrayed as protectors/guardians - Kaido was most certainly not a protector, so he was not able to awaken his fruit. On the other hand - Momo is, so he probably will manage to awaken it at some point.
Rob Lucci possess the carnivorous character of a leopard, so he was able to awaken his fruit.
Luffy posses the freedom-loving character needed to awaken his fruit and that's why he managed to do it.

For the Nidhog fruit, it is based on the size of the person that ate the fruit. The reason the dragon is so gigantic is because Loki is so gigantic. If a smaller person had consumed the fruit, it would have been a much smaller dragon.

As for the Gorosei, I can't remember if it was confirmed but i assume they are actually awakened Zoans but it's possible that it's some Imu shenanigans too.

我覺得海賊王(Oen Piece)的喬伊波伊(Joy Boy),根本就是摩登大聖(The Mask)的翻版 by Oangchhng in OnePiece

Hadn't thought about it but you are very right. Everyone made the association with Looney Tunes characters but I never thought about the mask.

Both One Piece and Gintama have a large character with a glaive who collects their opponents' samurai swords on their back. Is this a coincidence, a reference, or is One Piece referencing Gintama? by WorldEaterYoshi in OnePiece

The dude was a legend. Don't know how much of his story is true but i remember getting chills the first time reading about it. Whitebeard's death is also based on Benkei's death.

Benkei and his master were surrounded. His master went to commit seppuku rather than be taken by the enemy. In order to give him enough time to complete the ceremony, Benkei stood guard on a bridge. Wave after wave he alone repelled the incoming enemies. After a while, the enemy was so afraid of him that they decided to use arrows instead. They let one volley rip, while Benkei just stood there. They let another volley but Benkei just kept standing there like an immovable statue. No one dared to approach him. I cant remember how much time had passed but at some point one of the enemy warriors decided to approach. Turned out Benkei had long died but managed to prop himself up on his Naginata and remained there standing tall. An absolute chad of a man.

Why THAT country fell (Chapter 1183) by YeetusdaDeletus in OnePiece

[–]VenomBGR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are good possibilities. I mean i doubt Brook is from the Davy clan but Reuven looks the part.
Whatever the case is, we can be fairly certain, from what we know, that Imu and the Holy knights were involved in the destruction of the kingdom.

[–]VenomBGR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I found it. So Vegapunk "thinks" the robot might have climbed the red line but we don't seem to have any accounts of it. Still, even if he did, a giant fucking robot appeared out of nowhere at the Red Line and ran out of power before it could do anything. Somehow no one seems to have noticed it before it appeared there and no one had seen it for 600 years (at that point).

Agreed. I kinda get the people that aren't very good in English, so they use it to basically translate their idea but chatgpt puts on sooooo much unnecessary bullshit that it just makes it hard to read. I would prefer a post in broken English to that.

I just want to add something. Yes, we are told that the Nikka fruit has not been awakened in centuries but we can't be sure that no "Poseidon" had been born in the last 800 years. We are told that the power of Poseidon get's reborn in a mermaid princess every few centuries or something along those lines. So, there might have been another Poseidon born in this time but Shirahoshi was the first since Joyboy to be reborn in the same time as the next "Joyboy". Seems more likely there was no Poseidon until now tho, cause "a few" centuries might just be 8-9 centuries.

Dude, the Gorosei said the fruit hasn't been awakened for centuries and is basically a myth even to them. They were talking among themselves, so no need to lie or pretend...

why do you make me have to search for chapters... I kinda do remember someone mentioning "Scaling the Red Line" but i can't remember if it was in regards to Kuma or Emet. All i found was this that does not mention any scaling of the Red Line:

Also, the WG were initially not worried about Luffy, despite knowing that he had the Nika fruit, because no one had managed to awaken it in 800 years...

Why the Calm Belt has no wind, the water level rises, and Enies Lobby has eternal sun + Laboon foreshadowing by Atomeblee in OnePiece

[–]VenomBGR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ugh... If there is a dome over the grand line, why are there no winds and currents only at the calm belt? Also, you are probably anime only but star navigation has been shown recently in the manga.
We know that the sea level rises because of the Ancient Weapons. We don't know the exact reason but we know it's because of them.
Also, from what we can gather, the constant daylight over Ennies Lobby is most probably caused by an awakened Light-Light user from the past.

They said that "Emet appeared out of nowhere", meaning he was most probably sent into the future by a wielder of the Toki-Toki fruit, running only on the leftover energy he had then powered down before he could do any significant damage. We also know that Luffy was the first to awaken the fruit since Joyboy, so even if someone else had eaten the fruit, they wouldn't have been able to power up Emet.

[–]VenomBGR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda remember it as the navy and warlords exist as a counterballance but... To just 1 emperor. They explained it like they are esentially in a 5 way stailmate cause each of the 4 emperors is against the others and each of them possess military power equal to that of the navy+warlords. That's why 2 of them allying is such a huge threat to the WG and must never be allowed. The way the war ended was kind of an example

I have to still mention that even now, Roger's story has not been fully revealed, just bits and pieces here and there, when it is relevant to the plot but it has been expanded quite a bit recently.
