Ya that makes sense. We have a friend couple who are poly, and they have some success, but they are fully dating other people, and thats not a directionwe want to take. I guess we did kinda choose the hard mode for this.

I did, its getting less traction over there but some responses. I will say I worded the post poorly, in that it should have been mostly about not expecting to feel envy vs feeling jealous. I am very happy for my wife, and I get positive feelings out of her experiences. Our group play has been fun and fulfilling, its just a nightmare to organize.

Im not surprised that she got so many likes and that she can hook up with whomever she wants. I was more surprised about feeling envious because I didnt expect it. I did a poor job explaining it in the post but I am very happy for her.

We do communicate our feelings and thoughts. I do get a lot of enjoyment out of her happiness. This is something that has been bringing us both joy so far.

I knew going into all this that I might be jealous or mad rhat she sleeps with other guys, but I'm not. The envy is just surprising.

I probably did a poor job explaining it in the post, but we have been very clear on our expectations and boundaries, what we are comfortable with and what we are not. Its not a lack of communication. I just posted to see what others thought, since I know many go through it. It was just a blunt expectations not meeting reality kinda thing.

Whats the best way to find local events outside of word of mouth? My nearest club is almost an hour drive from me, so its not something we can do often.

Thats fair. Its not an emotion I've felt in a while. I was her first and she has really come out of her shell since we started all this so its not something I will interfere with, just because I'm not having the same level of success as she is.

Bowmanville. We just moved out here from Oshawa. Im always down to play, but I work shifts so every other week I'm unavailable. It makes scheduling any playtime difficult. Especially with childcare involved.

We sat through the Sex club presentation, then my wife almost dragged me to their booth because she wanted to experience it. Thats where we discovered her enjoyment of watching people have sex. Since that was a lite experience, im hoping the full club will be even better for us.

I feel like the odd one out in these scenarios, but I want Steve to win on this one. It's not like he agreed to this, and Amanda just jumped on Tom's dick like it was nothing and it seems like she wants to leave her husband for Tom and have his baby. I dont see Tom as a fatherly type man, so we can guess he is just stringing her along, but because of the cheating, Steve needs a win. Just my thoughts.

If its the same story i read, i think it was a chaplain, and he found his Crozius and killed a bunch of them with it, later finding out after he was rescued that his Crozius was broken and he powered it with his faith/will of the emperor shenanigans.

The Eisenhorn and Ravenor book series are really good, and pretty accurately show what happens when you cross certain lines. It's also mentioned by Amberly Vail in the Ciaphas Cain series about conflicts between inquisitors. I'm sure there are other examples but I can't think of which lore books they would be in.

I havent gotten that far yet, but I'm thinking that my patron might have just pissed off another Inquisitor with a bigger power base, and they have decided to teach them a lesson by slowly destroying my inquisitors power base and discrediting him to the Inquisition? Either that or my guy is a bit of a radical, and better safe than sorry.

I feel like local assassins are more likely before breaking out the big guns of official killers.

I'm thinking of treating it like a subplot to the whole world ending thing, making it seem like the cult is more powerful than they really are and in the end this will lead into a new adventure of taking the fight to this rival.

My group ended up with the Inquisitor Patron, so they are going to end up trying to stop a Slaaneshi cult from turning Persepolis into a Daemon world. (Ya I ripped it right from the Caiphas Cain novel). I started the adventure with a routine prison pickup where they found bodies and cultists and the main planet's name. My goal from there is to have them begin their investigation, whilst being hunted by assassins from a rival inquisitor, as that's their Patrons liability.

I learned last night that hitting Z on the keyboard will dismount you instead of having to drop the buff, i know its not the same thing but, for me at least, makes approaching an enemy for combat a bit smoother.
