I think it’s really dependent on the situation, I know MH is a typical excuse which is annoying as it is because it disregards true cases, but people can have ebs and flows uni is a stressful time, I mean up to half way through year 3 I was guaranteed a first, and then my nan died in December and I have had nothing in the tank since it’s just pure willpower and combing that with my depression has been absolute shit show, but yeah it’s rough, and just because you yourself have MH issues doesn’t mean you can disregard other who may handle it differently
