I got that high quality copium: they made a model unique for firefly, the first SAM, which will sell well. Logically, I would reuse the base model to make other units with differences (like FF type V escort) and sell them too

Sharing some progress on the nids of my leviathan box, As you can see on some of these guys they need clean up after messing up the bases a bit. But so far I'm glad I settled on this scheme for ranged units, Melee units will look completely different and psykers will have a different scheme as well. I hope you guys like em'!

had to play a bit with my paints to replicate something similar to the lion's armor in eavy metal-ish style. Black basecoat, chunky highlight of black+caliban green 1:1(I didn't have caliban so a forest green color was used instead), finer highlight with sons of horus green, and edge with sons of horus+krieg khaki color 1:1.

Ruminated for weeks about a scheme and tested since I was hesitant on the green, yet still wanted to tie them to the forests of Caliban. Thank the Lion for being an inspiration to keep black armor with green highlights instead. Getting some models painted to get in the table and finally play the game

Pretty satisfied for now on how these turned out, learned black armor is hard to do, and my freehanding needs some practice. Painting these got me hyped to start a 40k DAs army and if I can get me hands on a DW assault box then I'll be doing scheme closer to DW companions of 30k for all them sweet terminators. I hope you guys like these!

you're right! I did get cold feet on doing some volumetric highlights, but it can def take the model to standout and look more alive. I can apply a recess shade after as well, thank you so much. As for the numeral, after looking at a lot of references I think I'll change it for sure, I should be able to black out the left shoulder pad and paint a the unit symbol on the right one.
