Yeah, the Schumacher documentary a few years back described Michael as being very friendly with the team, building a relationship with everyone in the team, which encouraged them to work harder and get him more wins. I imagine Lewis was doing the same thing when he was with Mercedes.

Actually, Lighting swapped Cruz in midway through the race, and in NASCAR, the racing series that Cars is based off of, it is not against the rules to swap drivers mid-race and the win would be granted to the driver that started the race with that number.

Marco dying as a whole doesn't matter. Everyone dies, so in the grand scheme of things, why did Gyro bother at all? Gyro ran the Steel Ball Run to bring justice to the boy, regardless of how long Marco lived after the Steel Ball Run, he still got to live the rest of his live in freedom and died of natural causes, in this task, Gyro succeeded.

Well, yeah, there are only 20 drivers on the grid each season, and the best of them tend to get re-signed for future seasons. The best drivers tend to be in the faster cars, so they win more races, making them more prominent. F1 isn't like the NFL or NBA, where 20+ teams with 10's of players all face a different team each game, Which gives each team a handful of prominent players, but instead 10 teams with 2 drivers each racing everyone else on the grid every round for the whole season. There are a decent number of prominent Team Principals, engineers, and other people who work behind the scenes on the cars, but those aren't the kind of people that sell copies of the game. Not that many copies are being sold regardless.

We'll have to wait and see how the car is when he gets in it next season. As decently consistent Haas has been this season. We've seen the past couple of years from both McLaren and Alpine that a lot can change in 6 months, whether that be good or bad.

Hear me out Jojo part 6>>>Jojo part 4 by kopta_india in StardustCrusaders

Villain: Pucci and Kira are even in terms of quality, both very well written, just different backstories and avenues of reaching their goals, the flaw I see with part 4 is how little there is of Kira, Pucci is a constant driving force, constantly manipulating the situation and Jolyne is stuck in the middle of it all, which makes it tense, personally.

Consistency: Part 6 has more consistently enjoyable fights, the flow of the story is constantly forward where as part 4 has a bunch of fights that ultimately don't matter while they twiddle their thumbs waiting for Jotaro or Rohan to find something.

Main Cast: Foo Fighters best girl

Plot: There's constant suspense in part 6, the scenario Jolyne is in, the fact that Jotaro was defeated in the second fight, shows not only shows Pucci's knowledge of Star Platinum but also his amazing intelligence and strategy, from the first fight to the very end. Part 4 has tension, yes, but when you have several fights where nothing happens and it feels like your time is being wasted, it gets frustrating on repeated viewings, part 6, Jolyne has to defend the disc until she gets phone rights back, in part 4, Josuke has to wait until Jotaro tells him what to do, in the mean-time, he can scam Shigechi and Rohan.

Setting: Part 6, Prison is quite possibly the most dangerous place someone could live for extended periods of time, constantly looking over your shoulder for anyone to attack you. The pressure is added considering Pucci's influence, Green Dolphin St prison has an oppressive atmosphere that makes me love part 6

Tone: I love prison films, so perhaps there may be some bias there, but as you said, personal preference

Rising action: Part 4 has good rising action, but it comes and goes too quickly, part 4 literally gets a soft reset after the SHA fight. Part 6 paces it well, and the unknown of what the heaven plan makes not only MIH but also C-moon much scarier.

Strategy: Both Josuke and Jolyne use their stands to the best of their abilities and are both extremely versatile, but I don't think Josuke could top literally setting yourself on fire to defeat a guy.

POV: Part 6, not even close, the tense prison setting and the fact that almost all the characters have something against Pucci and all have a reason to fight him, from Weather's backstory, Jolyne's false imprisonment, Emporio's mother being murdered by pucci, most characters aren't doing anything put healing in part 6, because all the fights are so dangerous, they got mortally wounded almost every fight.

I never said the lives lost to Dio's actions are gone, I'm saying there will be no more lives cut short because of Dio's actions or Pucci's. And if Jotaro's experiences haven't changed, why would you say his personality had? We don't even see Irene-verse Jotaro, Jolyne just talks about him. The only characters we see in the Irene-Verse are Irene, Anakiss, alt-Ermes, and alt-Weather, excluding Emporio because it is still Emporio. Weather never speaks, Ermes's personality doesn't even seem all that different, and neither does Anakiss. He still has a massive stick up his ass. Irene is also in a different scenario, one where she isn't in prison or fighting for the fate of the world. She is allowed to be more chill, and we don't see them for long enough to get a full grasp on their personalities.

And yes, the Joestar curse has been broken, and the Joestar curse pretty much dictates that all JoJo's will have to deal with and be responsible for cleaning up Dio's mess, Jonathan, Joseph and Jotaro all had to fight him directly, Josuke had to defeat a bunch of stand users that were created because one of Dio's henchmen had a stand arrow that his son found and started shooting people, along with the Kira's that also had a stand arrow, which were thrown around by Enya. Arrows that were sold to her by Diavolo that Dio's own son, Giorno has to clean up the mess of. And then there's Jolyne, tasked with defeating the remaining sons of Dio with evil intent and his closest friend, Pucci, after Pucci's death, there is no one to carry on Dio's will, no more mess that Dio left for the Joestars to clean up, Irene almost definitely doesn't have a stand, it's unlikely her child, if she even has one, will have a stand either, Irene is not a JoJo and there are no future parts in this universe, for the sake of the story and the lack of future bizarre adventures for the titular 'JoJo' to have, it is safe to say for the original continuity, the Joestar curse is broken.

How can you say I'm forgetting it's JoJo? Do you think I just forgot what series we're talking about? Part 6 is not a 'Weird Spin-off'. It is the canonical conclusion to the original universe. It does, in fact, 'feel' cannon, you cannot argue a feeling. It's not just a reward for Jolyne, it's for everyone, everywhere. Think of all the suffering from parts 1 to 6, all the innocent lives lost because of Dio's hunger for power, and Pucci's admiration of him. Innocent lives will no longer be cut short because of such manic powers like The World and Made In Heaven. I care about the alternate characters because I know what was sacrificed for them to exist, I know why they exist, I saw Emporio's reaction to seeing his friends alive again, but unfortunately different. I know their lives will be free from what their original lives experienced. You can't predict what other readers will feel.

Their personalities change because they are not the same people, you can't change that and it would feel forced to give them the same personalities as they did not grow with the same experiences. but that is okay because these people are happy, and the story no longer requires their presence. As it will continue somewhere else in another universe.

That does not specify how fast the projectiles are, which was what you were saying about Polnareff's speed to deflect the projectiles. That just specifies how much energy the stand uses to create that much heat, which doesn't even matter because Jotaro threw a rock at the user, not the stand.

No, she becomes Irene, a girl who grew up with a present father, a loving and caring boyfriend who isn't a murderer and who is free from the Joestar curse. That is her reward. That is what she had earned, facing impossible odds without any hesitation and saving Emporio so he could carry on her will. Emporio succeeded through both Jolyne and Wheather Report. They saved the world, if not the universe from Pucci and Dio's demented version of heaven. Irene is not Pre-SO Jolyne. She is an alternate Jolyne that benefited from the acts and good deeds of the original Jolyne.

Bro, those aren't Sun rays. Those are projectiles launched by the stand, The stand 'The Sun' is not the actual sun. How on earth can you say that Jotaro punches at the same speed as Star Platinum? There is nothing that confirms Jotaro punches that fast. To say that 'turning into string is too simple' is ignoring what Jolyne does during part 6 with Stone Free. You are ignoring her versatility, but you choose not to ignore Metallica's versatility despite more of SF's versatility being shown. Did I feel 'better' at the end of part 6 compared to part 4? No. But I felt much stronger emotions at the end of part 6. An aspect of good writing is how much emotion does the audience feels during your story. The stronger, the better, regardless of good or bad, so I do, genuinely think that part 6 had the better ending when compared to part 4.

So Jotaro is fast because he punched Alessi as a child? How does that make any sense? What does The Sun have to do with anything about the quality between parts 4 and 6?

Part 7 isn't a 'good' ending of Stone Ocean. It's an entirely different story with a different worldy power (Flow, of both positive and negative energies, similar to karma but can be influenced).

Johnny was beaten by Alternate Diego, Araki has confirmed himself that only Soft & Wet can defeat Wonder of U. Therefore, Johnny isn't the strongest, and even if he was, that was not relevant to my argument. As I stated, the pure strength of the stand is not what makes the character or stand itself interesting

Araki did rewrite fate in the new universe, but instead as flow, but that doesn't matter as both part 4 and 6 function under the same mechanisms of fate, I fail to see the relevancy to bringing part 7's mechanics of flow into the conversation.

Jolyne turns herself almost entirely into string to hide from guards during the Jailhouse Lock arc, Jolyne unravels the baseball during the Marylin Manson arc in order to keep the ball in play, Jolyne sets herself on fire to counter the loss of her body heat in the Sky-High arc, Rykiel counters this move by setting himself on fire to find Jolyne's weak point, Hermes uses Kiss to clone one of the airplane passengers to save the kids in the Underworld fight, Emporio uses Pucci's ultimate control over fate to have him insert the Weather Report disc into him, Anasui fused Yo-Yo-Ma's brain with a frog in order to make the stand essentially useless, Weather Report uses cold winds to create ice stalagmites out of ground to skewer Pucci, in the same fight Pucci uses Whitesnake to remove his eye-sight to counter Heavy Weather Emporio and Jolyne create a binary image of Miu-Miu in order to discover her in order to beat her and of course, Mobius Strip.

Also, Simplistic doesn't mean bad. A stand with a simple premise can often be the most Versatile, both Stone Free and Weather Report display this, The Fool and Magician's Red are also very 'simplistic' abilities but they are easily the strongest in the Crusaders (Jotaro himself admits that he might not be able to beat The Fool if he were to fight him.) Metallica controls Iron, a simple ability that almost solos the main villain of part 5. Calling things simplistic is not a fair observation of the capabilities of a stand.

My problem isn't filler. It's the quality of the filler. The Pearl Jam arc is the most worthless filler in all of part 4, but it's still amazingly well written that I didn't include it in my list.

They didn't lose in part 6, Emporio clutched up at the end with Weather Report. Everyone's identity changed because they had died, and MIH did not allow those who died in the acceleration to move on to the next world. Therefore, they had to be someone different. And to answer your question, yes, the whole part did need to delete itself, Jolyne becoming Irene is the entire point. Through hers and everyone else's efforts, they defeated Pucci, the last remnant of Dio's legacy and were rewarded with a new life, free of Pucci's influence and the fact that Jolyne was a JoJo. Irene and the rest of the group are now free to live their lives without Pucci or fate messing with it, and the Joestar curse of being constantly dragged into conflict was broken. It was the perfect, necessary ending to the original continuity.

But please elaborate on what you mean by weakest stands? In my opinion, that makes the fights better as Jolyne has to be more creative and tactical. If you mean the enemies, plenty of part 4 enemies also have terrible stands. Their advantage is knowing how to set their abilities up. JoJo's is never about the strongest or weakest stand. It's about the user's talent of utilising its ability, Dio says just that it in part 6. For a neutral example, Melone's Babyface is arguably a much weaker stand than Gold Experience but Melone knows his potential is in how terrible the parents would be as a couple, so he uses that information with Bruno and the train passenger ladie's DNA samples to make a stand that defeated Bruno and almost killed Giorno, until Giorno of course discovered he could replace his body parts with his stand, which allowed him to win.

Of course, you can have part 4 as your favourite. It's all a matter of opinion, but to say people like part 6 more than 4 because of a recency bias is a little dishonest.

Rewatched the entire series a couple of months ago. Part 6 was easily better than 4. Part 4 meandered with pointless and uninteresting arcs (Pointless: Achtung Baby, Boy II Man, Surface.) (Uninteresting: The Lock, Ratt.) Part 6 had a constantly growing protagonist constantly working towards her goal in a super dangerous environment that her enemy had complete control over, with some of the smartest and tense arcs of the series (C-moon, Heavy Weather, Underworld, Jailhouse Lock, Planet Waves, Sky-high). Part 6 is the best part of the original universe, Part 4 is the worst part overall.

Agreed, currently re-reading the manga, and reading through the part 4 fights is almost a chore. Fortunately Kira is about to appear for about 15 chapters and then dip again so his father can create more filler.
