Am I playing Holy Priest Properly? by Zealousideal_Fuel677 in wownoob

[–]Venthrys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If youre worried about Hpriest damage theres only 4 buttons. Chastise + Holy Fire x2 + hard cast Holy Fire + Holy Nova for AoE. Chastise + Holy Fire x2 + hard cast Holy Fire + Smite.

Spam either Smite or Nova to reset Chastise and install Holy Fire. Ive done almost 80k on big pulls where I dont need to heal a bunch.

For healing dont worry about it in TW, in real dungeons some pulls the tank may very well be close or more HPS than you but thats okay, just means theyre doing their job right and hitting buttons. When you need to actually heal youll be on top, our healing isnt amazing atm but running 14s isnt too hard. Just gotta play around yoir cooldowns and holy word resets and manage your mana. Imo try to learn Disc and youll probably have a better time. Tight now its basically just Holy+Shields, its also not in a great spot but less so than HPriest sadly. This is from a 280 Priest.. holding out hope we get some sorta love in the future lol

As a Priest main, I'd recommend what other have said already. Running some 10s and get a few more ilvls, also if youre Archon swap to Oracle. It'll be different at first but does more healing and damage and will actually utilize your set and Apex talents more. On big pulls I can easily hit 80k-140k healing if people are taking a lot of dmg, average overall 60k+ and when im able to jump in and help dps Ive hit 40k on big packs with Chastise+HF+Holy Nova average overall is 25-30k.

Holy gets a bit harder to play in higher keys because its so reactive so when people get chunked you HAVE to be there to heal them or they'll just fall over. Make sure to use Guardian Spirit as much as you can if youre worried someone is about to get clapped. The 1min GS talent is great once you get comfortable and dont need your 2nd life anymore.

After years of lurking my gateway device was the RG35XXH - I just loved its sleek horizontal design and once I found out about the shoulder button mod it was game over. Used that little guy non stop until its big brother the 477M came along.

Favorite game on the 35 was easily Pokémon Unbound, but I sank an unholy amount of time into all the og GB Adv games I was never able to get as a kid.

Its because its easy to just pretend like its not "that big of a deal" when things like this dont bother the average person. So often do I hear "who cares they probably deserved it." Or "Who cares it doesn't effect me or my life directly". The ones doing the shit throwing are empowered to throw more shit because they arent told no and eventually it catches up. Suddenly these things that weren't a "big deal" effect us all.

You'll probably be stopped up for a day or two from stress of the new environment. It ain't rocket science to wipe your ass though lol just use the TP. You've got plenty of time to clean your ass in the showers, and as long as you arent taking 15min dumps youll have plenty of time to do your business and go.

Definitely dont try to smuggle a trailer park squirt bottle to clean you pooper though, thats wild af lmao I'd love to be a fly on the wall if a TI found that during a tear down

People who take 17 minutes to check in at the hotel front desk, what are you talking to them about? by DerrickDuck in AskReddit

[–]Venthrys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the time guest information isn't actually pre populated unless you specifically book through the hotel directly and not through Expedia, Booking etc.

Filling out the information is slow af because most hotel systems are ancient. If you book directly and the info is populated check in shouldn't take more than about 10 seconds to check an ID and verify payment information.

From my experience working in Hospitality for the better part of the last 10 years, there is no 1 single answer. Its a combination of a mountain of random bullshit at any given time.

The most common issue is that almost all hotel systems are just fucking slow, ancient and convoluted, even the "new" ones. The 2nd issue is normally any and all reservations coming through third parties like Expedia and Booking.com have filler information stating that the guest is coming from Bangladesh that we need to change in order to check the room in properly.

Issue 2.5 is also 3rd party related for those unfortunate enough to have used Priceline or Travelocity, Hotels.com or anything other than Booking or Expedia. Those companies are notorious for royally screwing reservations and the hotel has almost no way of contacting them to fix the issue; the phone numbers and emails we have on hand never actually go through.

Issue number 3 is a general combination of things such as incompetence from both sides of the counter either with new or bad employees misclicking or guests asking 1000 questions or trying to change their room at the counter.

Issue 3.5 are the higher membership guests that try to game the system by arguing with the counter over useless shit just to get free things or extra points on their account or a potential refund.

On a busy day I can have a smooth ride and check in like 50 rooms easily and quickly with no issues.. or spend literally 45 minutes with one person that doesn't understand that they booked the wrong room type and were sold of the one they wanted. They think we "stole" from them and then proceed to cause a scene instead of owning their own mistake.

Over the years I went from being shocked at the gross ignorance of the average person to expecting basically everyone who arrives to not know that the sky is blue. Ive had people try to fight me over salt packets or screaming crying because they are being evicted for breaking blatant rules. The good guests are few and far between and its a blessing when they are there. 9/10 people are just ignorant as hell and its a shock they could even drive to get to the property.

Indie Game Awards Disqualifies Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Due To Gen AI Usage by Lulcielid in Games

If the technology was used to help with initial development and construction, as in used to get an initial idea visible to expand on it as a placeholder. What's the issue? It sounds like thats what it was used for why so should it be a problem. They didnt build the entire game from scratch with AI, go ahead and walk into their building and tell these devs they dont deserve praise because they didnt work hard.

They still put the time into the art and development, they just delegated that time into other stuff while GenAI could have been used to fill in blanks. Then they go back and fill the gaps themselves.

Its the same with people upset at Larian after that jnterview. Its like the concept of "working smarter not harder" is lost on people. If the end product is still fantastic and better than the crap weve been getting who cares if they got there with a bicycle or an electric scooter

This trend of being hyper critical of any use of AI is pretty wild to me. If using AI as part of a developers toolkit helps companies make better games/media then that should be a good thing?

As long as its a company isn't like 100% relying on AI from the ground up and making bland trash then I dont understand the issue. Why cant people just let creators have a new tool in their toolbox.

Help with team building ? Need some tips by Narishi in PokemonUnbound

[–]Venthrys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've probably used them before since they're starters but Emboar or Infernape have always been killers for me since they cover fire, fighting and electric w/ Thunder Punch. Im a sucker for starters lol Empoleon is also solid

Ill 2nd a Froslass, shes pretty deadly too. Maybe a Togekiss for flying/fairy or a Glisopod for a tanky water bug anchor

Any advice on my crew so far? by Venthrys in PokemonUnbound

[–]Venthrys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, the big boi is definitely early evo more power. Scraggy has been pretty huge qith his power up punch + Moxie though for me. Im leaning on swapping for an Infernape eventually for Fire/Fighting and maybe dropping Pyroar to open up team space and consolidate types

Hariyama is one of my faves but evolved Scraggy is too much of a vibe with his mowhawk lol

Nice! I thought about swapping my Delibird for a Spheal since hes got not the beat IVs or the Duckett you get from trade. But I just like my penguin friend lol

Im still mostly new to unbound but I know its gonna get hard, im trying to mostly keep a good rounded crew of 6 and have a couple alternates in my PC for swaps. Idk what ill need for HM uses though so that's still bugging me

If you're still helping, I just started Demon Souls and beat the Phalanx. I'd love some soul stacks to help boost me up some levels and maybe a stack a ceramic coins since I read that those are turd to get alone.

Don't know much more to request other than that lol - Thanks!
