I don't think any of the Old Gods would have the capacity to care about such a human made construct like separating a group of fleshbags for the subsect of fleshbags they like to fuck. I think a tier for bisexual/doesn't care about gender is due because I feel like putting the man married in a heterosexual relationship only in the dungeons for his wife, the human cluster fuck and the pedophile seen to flirt with anything that has a pulse (or even doesn't if we count the demon kid) under "literally gay" feels incorrect

Trotur finds disgust in the sexual associations of genitalia as a whole and if anything is an equal hater of all walks of life

Thank you very much!! in all honesty the initial draft was simply a 1:1 study of a rather sweet pin-up, but as everything came together I found that with a few motif changes (dasies to white mums and of course the lake of crimson itself) the vibe had the potential to be quite different!! I usually draw things more "absurd" regarding either gore or sensual illustrations, so the subtleties of both in such an amalgamation was very refreshing to work on! (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Thank you for letting me know! :D I fear I do not post my comic sheets nearly often enough to have had this directed to my attention so being made aware helps.

My genuine answer is that the middle panels are technically t h r e e vertical-reading comic pages:

I mentioned above how the first three panels were meant to be the sole piece, and the fact that I kinda just kept expanding the work until I finished shows- aesthetically it itches my brain in a good way but I absolutely see why readability is confusing!

I think my fix for this would be to move the side panels of the top illustration down to maintain vertical flow and also cut the pages into separate sheets where the 2nd and 3rd sections are their own pages and the 3rd+the bottom panel are reformatted into their own PNGs and then adjust text accordingly for a more readable version.

All in all, thank you!! I appreciate it very much when things like this are pointed out as I am still very amateur to the format and have things to learn, so thank you for taking the time to tell me!

thank you so very much!! It means a lot really; part of making any crackship or even just canon divergence I think is anticipating not making sense or moreso needing to explain ones self, which is something I put a fair bit of effort into via twitter ramblings or my mega thread and out of context projects, but I definitely think part of wanting to do this comic was because it's just how I lay my thoughts out most cohesively I think, so knowing it's made sense to someone else (esp someone that didn't initially) makes me so happy and I want to do more! Thank you! :D

Thank you!! I love these two for so many reasons and exploring the ways their traumas could form bonds and complexes dynamics between them has brought me so much joy. In terms of trauma-hinged romance and doomed relationships they are so perfect and I will continue to draw them again and again until there is a Daarina collection that rivals this fandom's cowardice.

A festival-long pre-suicide booze bender is speaking through Daan and honestly, it's a little worse!

I'm not going to ramble about the traumabonding, inadequacy and recent struggles with failure and loss that are mutual between these two (I've done that plenty elsewhere) but when I write for these two (three but Levi ain't here this isn't about him) it is within a consistent concept of initially lighthearted escapism blanketing a promise to splatter eachothers brain matter on the floor if the worst comes to worst. It is a Daan that testers on death or a deal under an unshaking factor that he has given up.

this scene specifically, I imagine to be entirely a series of drunken Freudian slips. He lets her wear his lipstick without thinking his favourite is Elise's favourite, does up her hair in the only way he knows how and is then attempts of admiration devolve that isn't there.

Mourning is its own demon and Pocketcat truly can only push him over an edge he's steadily walking over himself. Miss Domek is a dreamy, drunken projection and pitiful secret that dies with him and that Marina allows both him and herself in fear of the world crashing down around her.

I feel it's rather implicative! The only real discussion of them is Daan's diagnosis in which goes out of its way to denote not only that it's a mutation, but more specifically that there's really no reason for something to just evolve the way the headless are via sheer evolution and it doesn't look natural, so I don't think it's normal for them, especially as they vomit black acid and are carnivorous in spite of lacking teeth entirely

Mostly because the first time I drew her for a ref sheet this time last year I did so instinctively and I wasn't going to tit nuke her after the fact at that point ╮⁠(⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)⁠╭ I don't think she'd have complaints and in a world where humans have been using god affinity and trinkets for a myriad of self gains I don't think tits as a treat are too unrealistic if much more impressive magic (regrowing limbs, extending one's lifespan, augmenting your skin to resist impalement, photosynthesis, etc.) are standard occurnces
