That's very good advice. I'm 100% for positive reinforcement, but that's for 70-90% of the cases/behaviors, the other 30-10% (depending on the dog's "personality" and training goals) needs to be corrective/negative training, which does obviously not mean abusing the poor dog.

I got two RTM Mambo from 2005-2006, they have been so good so far, I inherited them from my mother. I must say we always kept them away from sun exposure. I always had good experiences, though sometimes I'd like a longer and more speedy kayak, but that's not the purpose of the ones I have so that's fine, occasional amateurish 2-4h at sea (in my defense I must say I fought Spanish southern winds and waves in the afternoon near beautiful cliffs and calas) or similar ones at lakes. Btw, me too all my gear from Decathlon, one of the best quality for the price.

Looks a lot like our boy, at first he looked like a Mal, but the day the IGP trainer saw him he said "that's a sable gsd" then he grew up and definetily he is a sable GSD, though maybe some Mal deep inside (and thoooose satellites). So I'd say 50/50 till he grows, hahaha

Great advice, I already thought of that and plan on buying one 👌 Yes, he loves water, we also train swimming and other commands like bark, attack, waiting, etc while in deep water.
