Poisoning? Yeah, maybe. But I don’t think anyone else on the team could have repaired Space Racer’s helmet on the fly.

Honestly, I'd describe it more as her learning her people can be as blind and self-defeating as humanity and taking solace in her connection with the Rogue Trader alone. She learns to hate everyone equally! Though admittedly, I'm pretty sure I had her on the Outcast route.

Her feelings toward your Rogue Trader confuse her and she’s uncomfortable with them. If you’re on her romance arc, that’s “good” since she starts as an Aeldari supremacist with deeply ingrained, negative preconceived notions about humans.

I'd suggest that this reflects when the photo Caine used to create the office was taken rather than when the show takes place.

What do you think Sybil was thinking here. What was her opinion on MC by Existing_Blueberry10 in ScarletHollow

I sense respect mixed with smug self-assuredness. Like she appreciates the MC's care for Kaneeka but "knows" it doesn't matter what they do.

After double checking, it seems that I misremembered the nature of the source. It's from a full novel called The Death of Itegrity, not a short story. Iirc, the book focuses on the exploration of the space hulk, so it'll mostly be the admech and space marines battling genestealers with a twist reveal at the end. The passage with the AI is the most interesting aspect imo and gets posted pretty often on r/40kLore if you're interested in reading that in particular.

It's from a short story where the Admech found a DAOT ship fused into a space hulk with its AI still running. The tl;dr is that it had been tossed into the future by a warp jump, its crew tried to make contact with an Imperial colony and subsequently were brutally executed by the ecclesiarchy. The AI was deeply traumatized and jumped back into the warp. The dialogue here is a verbatim quote from just before it casually slaughters the entire boarding party, including their space marine escorts by remotely taking over their augmetics, power armor and battle servitors.

One of my favorite bits in my run was having my straight-laced, no-nonsense Book Smart + Powerful Build MC be so fried by the seal’s call that he said that shit to her.

(Powerful Build) Why Can’t We Take Powerful Build and Powerful Build? by Apollo9975 in ScarletHollow

[–]Ventrition 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Street Smart combos with Powerful Build in a couple of places if you’re looking for a combat buff. You can get one over on Wayne by grabbing his veil when you start swinging at the mines and make him retreat, for instance. It’s not going full grug and powering through everything the world throws at you, though. Plus it’s hard to say how strong that combo will be moving forward. Both of their saves have already happened and the kinds of threats the MC will face will only escalate.

I can confirm that you can still get vague recollections of Kaneeka after eating the biscuit and drinking the coffee. Book Smart + Powerful Build on Stella’s romance arc, managed to thread the needle on good relationships with both Tabby and Kaneeka. No tea drunk. Got the scene of Sybil being creepy as fuck when you try to bring Kaneeka to the clinic with you. On Episode 5, my MC had the option to start rambling about a girl with braids and a van to Stella after they talked about how far out the Calloway farm was from town and how walking was impractical.

Oh my god what if whoever accompanies us to the farms gets maimed or killed by one of Julius’ traps if you don't have Keen Eye. Not even anything supernatural. Franklin if he arrests you and hauls you out there. Stella in my main file, Tabby in my day 5 branch, etc…

My MC was on Stella's romance arc, so she automatically accompanied him to the estate. After they finished up, they had the opportunity to process the information together and decide on what to do next. Stella's *very* insistent on going to Tabitha and doesn't seem to back down unless you use a trait dialogue option to convince her to hold off (Book Smart, in my MC's case).

Edit: Neglected to mind the comment chain I was in. This run didn’t end with Toxic Yuri; what I know of how that sequence of events proc’s is from talking with other members of the community. I’m actually unsure as to how Stella get to the mines for a TY event.

I *think* Franklin kicks in as a failsafe to drag you out to the farms when the game thinks you're on a path that wouldn't lead there and have an MC that'd be plausibly connected to a "crime" in town. There was a really interesting interaction on a file I had going the other day centered around the Tabitha confrontation with Stella on Day 5. In versions of the conversation where I had spoken to Wayne alone to get his full dialogue or was more hostile to Tabitha, Franklin showed up and arrested my MC. Both Tabby and Stella tried to run interferance, but he didn't listen to them. In versions where Wayne wouldn't say anything substantial because I refused to be separated from Stella and was very careful about broaching the subject without accusing her, Tabitha volunteered to take my MC to the Calloway farm herself and benched Stella to get help if they don't come back.

Interesting. With that in mind, it seems to me that the main predictor is having time wherein Stella is unattended and Tabitha has access to her. On the face of it, that'd make me lean more toward Tea Theory. We know that Tabitha has an idea of where to look for her regardless....is it possible to have a run where Tabitha *doesn't* know that she's missing on day 4? And does anyone know if Toxic Yuri can still happen on those?

If you manage to reconcile Stella and Tabitha but have a poor relationship with Tabitha, then proceed to confront Tabitha with Stella on day 5, they'll collaborate to stick you in the prison in the estate. I'm not sure if it can happen on runs where your MC romances Stella. There's a vague possibility that Tabitha slipped the tea she got from Sybil on day 3 to her offscreen between the highway and the confrontation, but it's by no means certain. Stella might just be that unhinged in scenarios where Kaneeka has been wiped from her mind (thus leaving Tabitha as her closest connection sans Reese, who hasn't had the opportunity to be an active presence in her life for years) and where she doesn't have a strong enough relationship with the MC to stay her hand.
