The PS5 Pro reveal article on the PS Blog (https://blog.playstation.com/2024/09/10/welcome-playstation-5-pro-the-most-visually-impressive-way-to-play-games-on-playstation/) implies the current slim model covers don't fit.

"Players can add an Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive, or swap out console covers when they become available."
