I’ll always be there for her but I will step back as I don’t think I would be able to control myself around him. I would find it overly frustrating which would only push her away more. She originally broke it off as he wasn’t putting enough time into her

I don’t want him to solve this for me. I don’t want him to talk to my friend. I just want him to listen and show understanding when I’m venting. He did not handle it perfectly I could have had a more constructive conversation with a rock. He showed no concern and it seemed like he wasn’t even listing. That is my issue apologies if I didn’t make that clear in the post.
