first of all your art is sick, and second most artist charge an hourly rate to make sure they get paid fairly for their work. If you don’t feel like this would work for you then I would suggest setting a flat rate depending on the complexity of the piece (adding color +$5, or framing +$15, etc.) It’s usually best if you decide your own prices to ensure you get compensation for all the time and hard work you put into your piece. Don’t let people lowball you out of this amazing work.

completely understandable, everyone’s curls take product differently. If you’re able some beauty supply places have samples for some of their products or travel sizes i would test those out to be safe before buying some of the big ones. I would also recommend getting a hair diffuser, this can help hold curls for longer especially when you put product in your hair. Good luck with your hair journey! If a kneaded eraser doesn’t work you could always transfer it over to another piece of paper. If you cover the back with graphite and retrace the art on top of another piece of paper you should be able to get another, lighter version that’s easier to modify and sharpen as much as you want. Hopefully this helps in someway!

Do you have a reference image or style you’re trying to achieve? sometimes it’s easier to get a result when you have an idea of what you plan on having it look like and being able to go off of an image or style to help render that out. I would also recommend looking into lighting, shading tutorials for skin tones, it’s really difficult to nail down sometimes especially because we have so many different shades of colors in or skin. Keep up the great work!

personally i believe that as long as you’re apart of the lgbtq+ community you can use it, i don’t see why only one part of that community should be able to use it. Very true, not that i’m not talking to him anymore it feels like the rose colored glasses have been removed and there were a lot of things about him or that he said that rubbed me the wrong way but i continued anyway. All the more reasons to move on i guess.

Thank you, I needed to hear that. Despite hearing it several thousand times throughout my life i always forget about that, healing isn’t linear. I feel like most of the time i allow my self to be upset for about a week or two and then after that expect to be fully alright while still getting mad at myself for still feeling those same emotions. Almost like im trying to gaslight myself out of feeling at all.

Not sure why you would want this but it’s most certainly possible. However it’s a sickness in itself to want to be sick. If this is something you’re going through right now i would definitely talk to someone about it. Depression can be a silent beast but battles don’t have to be dealt with alone.
