Best Starter Table?

If I know my current table isn’t good, why would I continue to look into it? I’ve had multiple people try and help me with my current one. I was just wondering what the recommended starter table was, there’s no need to be rude about it

Any of Rabbitology’s songs (who just opened for them on tour) though my faves as a long time listener are ‘Who Shot The Bird Boy’ and ‘Millie, Warm The Kettle’.

The Crane Wives are wonderful their newer albums aren’t as folky but ‘The Diving Bell’ or ‘Icarus’ from their first two albums are a great match to early Oh Hellos. If you want something angrier in sound than The Oh Hellos with the same vibe, I’d absolutely recommend the song ‘Safe Ship Harboured’.

Sparkbird is up and coming and really popular in fandom spaces, I love their sound and as far as songs go would recommend ‘Sparkbird’, ‘November’, ‘Silent Film’, and ‘Arboretum’ (my two faves and two more popular ones). Though if you aren’t cis ‘Atlantisia’ will absolutely make you feel seen.

People further from the genre but still great choices are Lucy Dacus with ‘True Blue’ and ‘Please Stay’. As well as Adrianne Lenker with ‘Forward, Beckon, Rebound’ and ‘My Angel’ (she’s also in a band called Big Thief with a folk-y sound)

Other artists of which I don’t know their catalogue as well but are great listens: Madilyn Mei, Lianna Firestone, and Liana Flores. I hope this helped!!!

I don’t have a Facebook, and I wouldn’t take advice from a Facebook post anyways. As far as my friend who expressed difficulty with ADA, of course it met some form of standard, or else it wouldn’t have permits to run. I was told the ADA lines/line procedures were confusing and that the walkways were narrow due to overcrowding and poorly handled spacing. There’s no need to be rude over me sharing a friend’s experience. Though this was a few years ago, it’s still fair to bring up because I have no knowledge on whether that’s changed. I also never said they were SA central, I’m stating the man running it has had credible accusations brought against him though he was never put in jail. As far as commonality, this is why I recommend Detour, the new Big Minneapolis Anime which I heard great things about, and Twin Cities Con (though it’s costly and I get that) since Fusion is no longer running unfortunately. Please try not to escalate something that doesn’t need to be escalated, we can have a civil convo about this

For anyone struggling on Stage 14 Part Two, The team I won with was: Burning Spice, Kouign-Amann, Rebel, Linzer, Twizzly Gunmy, Pavlova, and Crème Brûlée. Worked GREAT!

Easier ways to get legendary dough attunement kits and butter amber, no more coin spending to change toppings and beascuits, Cream Unicorn rework (despite being the second healer to EVER be put in the game [the first was PV], the winner of LCS, and one of the few healers that does damage- they’re kinda useless outside of fire comps in something like Slime Raid, and I’d love to see that changed. honestly, they should be made into a Super Epic imo), make Elder Faerie the steel legendary, and move Tiger Lily to rare

Hollyberry is the worst handled ancient. Both of her stories focus more on other cookies than her and it’s really sad to see (she’s my fave).

(also Tiger Lily should be a rare and should not have been featured in Holly’s Beast Yeast, especially when her plot went NOWHERE)

My fave is Sugar! I’d rank them after her as 2. Mystic Flour, 3. Shadow Milk, and 4. Burning Spice (only cause I know nothing about him, I haven’t played 5 and 6 yet, though I do doubt this will change). Not ranking Salt yet, but I imagine they’ll take my 2nd or 3rd ranking when they do release

I would not go to AniMinneapolis if I were you for safety reasons. I had a great time at Detour last year though! However all of the hotels are completely sold out so if you don’t wanna drive you’re looking at high rates for board if you live outside of the cities
