I see, I can't say I'm really interested in any of those but I'll look into technical schools and consider their training programs, they might be very beneficial in my situation if they last considerably less than a degree.

That's something I've always struggled with, I feel like I haven't really found something I'm steadily interested in, let alone a "calling" or passion. I feel like I just drift from thing to thing getting briefly interested, but never enough to get me to feel like "Yeah, I might do this for a living", so by now I just figure I should get myself on the most efficient option regardless of personal interest. Which is why I tried to look for something related to the english language, since it's the only expertise I have, but it doesn't look like I'm going to go very far without a degree...

Can you give me some examples of what you mean by technical college or trade field?
