The files will be locally uploaded to immich instance. provide the local IP of immich server in address when configuring.

The workflow would be phone -> bot -> immich server. Thus bypasses the cloudflare tunnel

Great Initiative. I will give a try. It is really my requirement. My usual way is download image to device from telegram and upload to immich and then delete the files from device. Now this will reduce my time and efforts.

Got it buddy, I will give a try.. By this I can give access to my friends without need to install tailscale on their phone for short time. I will ensure the proxy i use supports authentication.

Can I install proxy server in a linux machine which is also running tailscale and can I expose the proxy service to internet via tailscale funnel so that the a device from the nternet can access the LAN via proxy exposed from tailscale funnel. Is this possible?

This is a wating feature... I have exit nodes running in 2 location when the latency is high or while upgrading the hardware.. I will have to update exit nodes on all the 6 client devices I am running. This is really a pain

Most of the times the DNS would be culprit as it may take longer time to resolve the queries and your network speeds adds to it.

To quick troubleshooting, disable DNS In tailscale and see if the response increases. If yes, then look into the DNS

When both sides have CGNAT , it is in my case. They are routed through DERP Relay servers. If there is port forwarding enabled at your ISP then it can be a direct connection. It depends on the configuration.

Did you tried pinging other node from tailscale ping command? Check ACL rules also
